We examine some of the more famous examples of BFFs from pop culture, including the films Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Baby Mama, and Prey for Rock and Roll, TV shows Sex and the City and I Love Lucy, and real life besties Gayle and Oprah, and Courtney Cox and Jennifer Aniston.
We also ask some hard-hitting questions, like why is there no female equivalent of Pineapple Express, and why do lesbians always sleep with our friends? (The short answer: because we can.)
Finally, we offer five guidelines for preserving your lesbian friendships. You can probably guess what the number one rule is, can’t you?
