Fall is always a popular time for game releases, and this year is no exception. Whether you prefer RPGs, first-person shooters, sports games, or playing the guitar, there's something for everyone.

To help you sift through them all, I've created a list of the major releases through November — but first, here's a breakdown of the types of enemies and weapons you'll encounter in the new games.

Too bad we can't transfer weapons between games — if I had a sword in FIFA Soccer 11 I might actually score a goal.
