Cee-Lo says he could never be homophobic because he’s too much of a “free bird.” That being said, he offended some last year when he asked a critic who didn’t like his show if they were gay. Yes, she was — but Cee-Lo thought the writer was a dude. Cee-Lo told Esquire his side of the story:
Cee-Lo and Steven Tyler are both kind of cringe-inducing to me when they make overtly sexual comments to women like it is their right, but I do believe Cee-Lo is not homophobic. That being said, I need to go to a Rihanna concert right away.
