Milk screenwriter Dustin Lance Black has gathered an all-star cast for the West Coast premiere of 8, “a play chronicling the historic trial in the federal constitutional challenge to California’s Proposition 8.” The one night event will take place on March 3 and will feature Glee’s Jane Lynch (who will play NOM’s Maggie Gallagher), Matthew Morrison, George Clooney, Campbell Brown, Modern Family’s Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Christine Lahti and many more.
This weekend, Gina Carano’s action flick Haywire lands in theaters in the U.S. But if you can’t wait to see Carano land some punches, then check out the below chase scene from the film. Carano is my new hero! (Check back for our review of the film on Monday.)

On Sunday night I dragged my sick ass out of bed to attend the Los Angeles HER HRC Event. (I’ve been sick for three weeks but being gay always trumps an illness.) The HER HRC events are occurring all over the country this month and next, so if there is one in your area (check their website for event dates/locations) head over for a good time. And a big thank you to the HRC Kansas City Volunteers for the shout out on the red carpet. You are awesome! (And I like you more than everyone else.)
