Good morning and happy Martin Luther King, Jr. Day!
I’m back from TCA in Los Angeles, where I couldn’t get away from the cover of L.A. Weekly, featuring none other than Syd tha Kid.
In the interview, Syd spoke openly about being gay (she hates the word lesbian) and about who she thinks should come out. An excerpt:
I can appreciate Syd’s candidness, and certainly her outness, but I can’t help but cringe at her using the platform she’s been given to defend violence against women in her music video, the homophobia of Odd Future and out other people.
Amber Heard‘s new campaign for Guess’ Spring/Summer line is out. She looks gorgeous, even at sea. I’d be looking windblown and seasick.
Taylor Momsen posed with her friend, porn star Jenna Haze, for an upcoming FHM shoot. I wonder how these two met. I don’t think it was on the set of Gossip Girl.
An Horse has a new music video for their song “Airport Death.” It might make you feel accomplished to watch it, like you got something done.
Linda Perry talked with E! about gf Sara Gilbert.
I think they’re kind of adorable together. I’m glad they are happy!
Some tidbits from TCA I wanted to share: Someone is going to be coming out on Ringer, but producers won’t say who or if they are female. All they will say is we’ve met them already and they are “sexy.” I am rooting hard for Jaime Murray. Also, rumors that TVLine started about a lesbian coming to The Big C are false, unfortunately. There is a woman who rides motorcycles, but that’s as far as it goes.
Rosie O’Donnell went on Bravos’ Watch What Happens Live to discuss secret celesbian parties. Awesome.
Check out this still of Callie from the upcoming alternate universe episode of Grey’s Anatomy. Callie has lots of babies — plural!
