It’s official: Madonna will perform during the Super Bowl 46’s halftime show. This morning, NBC announced that the mega star will collaborate with Cirque du Soleil’s creative team for the February 5, 2012 performance.
Last night, Meryl Streep (The Hours) received the Kennedy Center Honors along with Neil Diamond, Broadway singer Barbara Cook, cellist Yo-Yo Ma and saxophonist Sonny Rollins. The prestigious award acknowledges those who have influenced American culture through the arts. To watch the full ceremony, tune in to CBS on December 27.
Tonight, The L Word’s Marlee Matlin will head over to The Rosie Show and Happy Ending’s scene stealer Casey Wilson will stop by Chelsea Lately. Also, Lady Gaga will appear and perform on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Friday, December 9.
Meredith Grey’s mother Ellis, played by actress Kate Burton (Grimm) is returning to Grey’s Anatomy. Burton will appear in a "special dreamscape episode that imagines all the ways her daughter’s life would be different if she was alive and well." Since GA is resurrecting the dead, I hope they bring back Denny Duquette and George O’Malley. I always liked them. Burton’s episode entitled "If/Then" is scheduled to air February 2012.
Young Adult has released yet another clip online. (At this point I’ve already seen 70% of the film.) Watch Charlize Theron grit her teeth while she calls a baby "adorable." I’m pretty sure she doesn’t mean it.

Well, if anyone could pull off a shaved head, it’s Jessie J!
