Did you have a nice long weekend? I had a lovely time at AfterEllen.com contributor Emily Hartl‘s wedding. She looked gorgeous, of course! Here’s a pic of “You may now kiss your bride,” with me trying to shield Emily’s hair from the rain starting to fall.
Speaking of gorgeous, I am loving this new Dior short film starring Charlize Theron. The music is The Gossip and Charlize is sharing kisses and glances with Grace Kelly, Marlene Dietrich and Marilyn Monroe.
Rolling Stone thinks 4 Non Blondes‘ “What’s Up?” is one of the worst songs of the ’90s. I just listened to again and wholeheartedly disagree. In fact, I think it’s one of the best, but I love screaming song lyrics so….
If you want to meet Brooke Vincent, she’s apparently working as a bartender in Manchester when she’s got free time from Corrie. Maybe she’s method acting and we’ll soon see Sophie delivering bodyshots at a lady bar.

Poet Sweta Srivastava Vikram has penned her first novel and it’s about a married woman who meets and falls in love with an Iranian woman in exile. It’s called Perfectly Untraditional, and sounds like a great read.

Thanks for the tip, Brooke!
