Morning Brew – Wednesday, July 20: Bisexual rumors about Lea Michele, Kreayshawn forgot she called herself an occasional lesbian

Bay Area MC Kreayshawn obviously forgot that she once referred to herself as an “occasional lesbian,” because she is mad that people keep calling her one. She told MSN Music:
The most f*cked up, untrue story I’ve ever read about myself is that people think I’m a racist lesbian! Everyone that I’ve done an interview with in Europe has asked me about the “occasional lesbian” thing. What is that? That sounds wrong! Like, if I was a lesbian I’d be offended that this girl is calling herself an ‘occasional lesbian’. I’m not an occasional lesbian. I mean, I don’t put labels on anything from colour to sexuality, to gender, to anything! It’s all good, whatever’s whatever, you know?
I like how she thinks people just made up this phrase out of thin air. We’re just taking your lead, Kreay Kreay!
Some dude joked on Twitter that Lea Michele dated “plenty of males and females” while she was in between serious boyfriends. Of course, this made fans go nuts, and the guy later wrote he was joking. I’m not really sure why this guy has any authority. I looked him up and he has acted in two films I haven’t heard of. Is he like Lea’s BFF or something? Why is he a valid source of information? He’s not? OK, good. That’s settled.

Probably the most lesbian version of that song I’ve ever heard, and that song gets covered a ton.
This post about a bisexual mom in an open relationship on Mommyish started out OK, but made me cringe several times with paragraphs like this:
On this night, Sophie enters the club and watches the gorgeous women, eyeing their soft curves. But she won’t be viewing them with envy, comparing her own body to theirs, as so many of us tend to do. No, Sophie will be looking at them with interest. You see, Sophie is a bisexual, married mom and tonight, she wants to find a woman to dance with and maybe make out with and then see where it leads.
I’m glad they posted a story about a happy, bi mom and all, but seriously – cringe and a half with the corny bi reveal.

Lesbians can get married in Vermont, just not at the Wildflower Inn. What is that? Discrimination? OK, Wildflower, get ready for the ACLU to come after you.
In other news about dumb homophobic people, a museum guard at the San Francisco Contemporary Jewish Museum asked a lesbian couple to leave because they were holding hands. Please note this was at a Gertrude Stein exhibit, one I’d very much like to go to and eye all of the security guards suspiciously while groping my wife just because. Luckily, everyone else at the museum thought the guard was dumb and apologized to the couple, as they obviously support LGBT rights. (See: San Francisco, Gertrude Stein.)
Blossom The Big Bang Theory‘s Mayim Bialik was a guest on The Talk yesterday and she told the hosts a story about Chelsea Handler mistaking her for Sara Gilbert.
