The Kids Are All Right’s Julianne Moore is on the cover of the July/August issue of Health Magazine. The four-time Oscar nominated actress discusses her red carpet insecurities, her take on plastic surgery and looking good at 50.
Moore told Health, “The big thing about being 50 is the bar is much lower – people are like, ‘Oh my God, you look great!’ So that’s sort of good. I have very strong hair, that’s just genetics. And I credit my mother for keeping us out of the sun.”
While patrolling Facebook, I recently came across an event called “The Big Lesbian Waterfight!!” It sounds pretty awesome, except that it’s scheduled for January 1, 2014. Does it really take a group of lesbians three years to plan an event? I believe all you need for a lesbian water fight is lesbians and water. Maybe I should talk to Al Gore about the world water shortage to ensure this important event takes place.
If you watched True Blood last night (I did!) you should be happy to know that Vampire Jessica’s blogs are back! Written and directed by out filmmaker Gianna Sobol, watch them and find out what the red-headed baby vamp really thinks about being young, beautiful and dead.
Jodie Foster might join forces with Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges in a live-action adaptation of R.I.P.D. Based on the comic by Peter M. Lenkov, the story follows a recently slain cop (Reynolds) who joins a team of undead police officers (including Bridges) to find his murderer. The undead cops work for the “Rest in Peace Department.” (This sounds like a Ghostella storyline.) Foster is being pursued for the role of “Procter,” the boss of Reynolds’ and Bridges’ characters. (Lesbians are always in charge.) R.I.P.D. is set to release June 28, 2013 but, in the meantime, Foster is working alongside Matt Damon and Sharlto Copley in the sci-fi picture Elysium, directed by Neill Blomkamp (District 9).
Lindsay Lohan joined photographer Adam Bouska’s NoH8 campaign. Which photo do you prefer?
This morning, ABC announced its fall television premiere dates. On Thursday, September 22 Charlie’s Angels will debut at 8 pm followed by a two hour-long Season 8 premiere episode of Grey’s Anatomy at 9 pm. Will you tune in and watch?
Lesbian/ Bi Photo of the Day:
Tomorrow night at 9 pm, Vicci Martinez and Beverly McClellan will go head to (shaved) head in The Voice finals. Having two out lesbians in the final four gives us gay girls a 50/50 shot to take home the title of The Voice. Who says you can’t be out at work?
The results will be announced on Wednesday, June 29. Who do you want to win it all?
