Styled Out: Pride fashion

Just when you thought that it couldn’t possibly get better, it did. What am I referring to exactly? Well, let me tell you all about it, friends.

Everyone knows that Old Navy is a staple for the basic and inexpensive clothing needs in your life, and if you tell me you’ve never bought a cheap swimsuit or pair of pajama pants here, I will call you a liar. They’ve taken it up a notch and started rooting for our team – hard core.

Just in time for Pride month (Oh, June!), the chain will be debuting limited edition shirts with 10 percent of profits going directly to the It Gets Better Project. According to Old Navy’s marketing team, there’s a shirt for everyone – like, you could even buy one for your baby if you felt so inclined, and I think you will. They’re a far cry from the usually boring graphic tees that the chain typically pumps out. The only downside is these are shirts that they won’t be massively producing – they will only be available in 26 select stores across the U.S.A. To find one near you, check oldnavy.com on May 30 to get the list of locations

Speaking of pride, that business is just around the corner! If you can’t get your paws on one of the above mentioned T-shirts and you’re into wild goose chases, see if you can hunt down a pair of these:

Find @CoreyWoods on Twitter to score a pair for yourself.

At this point, you might be hoping for some kinda something that might actually be slightly attainable and not just a far away dream. You’d be in luck. Have I told you lately how much I love Jeffrey Campbell? I do. I really, really do. I also tend to fancy a hard ass pair of boots, especially around Pride season.

Call it trite, call it whatever you will but these boots seem to stir the slightest inkling of butch inside my fluttery little femme heart. I think that once you lay your eyes upon these kicks, they might just tickle you, too – no matter where you fall across our broad spectrum of identity.
