Here in Chicago, we had the civil unions bill signed into law yesterday, which is pretty exciting. Now we’re about to get a huge snowstorm, which obviously means God hates gay people. Or he thinks we deserve a snowday. However you want to see it!

Desiree Shelton and Sarah Lindstrom were not only cheered on as they walked together in a winter pep rally at their Minnesota high school, but they also had several press outlets there to capture the moment. They wore matching tuxes and smiles as they walked arm in arm.

You might recall these girls were initially denied the privilege of walking together, but were allowed after a lawsuit was slapped on their school district. Desiree and Sara for Prom King and Queen!

Hopefully her children are a little less selfish now, and Kelly and Melanie are able to live openly as a couple.

The New York Times out lesbian food writer Kim Severson wrote about the boycott against Chick-fil-A for it’s anti-gay stance. The article included viewpoints from both sides and my favorite quote comes from a 23-year-old longtime customer named Sarah Beth Thomas:
