Last week, we told you about Lisa Howe’s suspension from Belmont University, where she was the coach of the women’s soccer team. She was fired, allegedly, for being a lesbian, and announcing to her players that her partner was pregnant. It’s become such a huge news story that ESPN will feature a segment on it this weekend on Outside the Lines. Here’s a preview:
It seems as if Lisa has everyone’s support but the university’s. Let’s hope this Sunday’s airing of Outside the Lines will help guide them in the right (and less homophobic/discriminatory) direction.
