Morning Brew: Tuesday, August 3: A lesbian duo get it on in a hotel room in a new music video, Shonda on Calzona’s future

Morning!

AfterEllen.com Vicki reader has my eternal thanks for sending me this video for ATB‘s “Could You Believe”? I have to admit I was a little concerned when I saw the male figure enter the video, and then the pillow fight gave me even more pause, but I think you’ll enjoy the rest of it as much as I did.

Star Wars geeks, behold PopCandy’s list of four items you definitely need! It includes a T-shirt designed by out artist Cat Staggs. It’s part of the Her Universe line, which makes geeky items specifically for women.

TV Guide talked with Shonda Rhimes and got some Calzona scoop out of her. They need to know if our fave folded-up pizza doctor couple will be together all season. Shonda said:

Callie and Arizona are going to be together; I don’t know if happy is the right word. We’re going to see them struggle with their relationship, where it’s going and what that means for them. The reality of the situation is that they are two people who are trying to settle down together and figure out what that means. That’s going to be really interesting to watch unfold.

Ahh, television. No one is ever “happy.” Why can’t they look like this forever?

TVFix has a slideshow of televised lesbian kisses asking “Tacky or touching?”

They find most tacky, but I disagree with a few, including Olivia Wilde and Mischa Barton on The O.C.. It also reminded me how much I disliked Gossip Girl‘s attempt at a girl kiss situation. Hillary Duff! (Hat tip, Viv.)

While we’re on the topic of tacky, how about a Real L WordT-shirt?
