Over on Role Reboot, a response to EJ Levy‘s recent piece on being a lesbian who married a man.
Apparently Jerry Seinfeld was hanging out with a lesbian “food stylist.” Thank you, National Enquirer.
Meredith Baxter has joined the cast of Young and the Restless. She’ll play “Maureen, a woman who becomes the drinking buddy of recovering alcoholic Nikki Newman.” Meredith will appear September 8, and her character is a “charming, intelligent, middle-class woman who has always aspired to a more privileged life than she’s had. She appears kind and sympathetic, but can be quite manipulative. She is skilled at getting people to do the things she wants them to do by making them think it’s their idea! When not hitting the sauce with her new drinking-buddy, Nikki, Maureen will be crossing with several key players on the Y&R canvas.” No word on if Maureen will get gay with anyone. That show needs it, though. Behind the times!
