Good morning and happy Cinco de Mayo!
Sara Ramirez has extended her contract with Grey’s Anatomy, signing on for at least two more seasons.
This story is all kinds of hilarious: Rosie O’Donnell and JLo are supposedly at odds over how to parent while both on The Fosters set.
Just as awkward is when TMZ doesn’t know the name of your girlfriend. On Britains Got Talent this week, a lesbian contestant named Eva Iglesias broke down during her audition because she is trying to rekindle romance with her ex-girlfriend. Aw. I’m sure exes come out of the woodwork when you get on television, girl.
When lesbians do things that make you go “no”: Out artist Maggi Hambling said she wish she had some slaves, and now everyone is mad so she apologized. Oh man.
One of Joel McHale‘s best jokes as he hosted the White House Correspondents Dinner: “I am a big fan of that lesbian on MSNBC, Chris Hayes. He’s great.”
Cynthia Nixon and her wife Christine attended the event. Looking good.
Linda Perry gushed about her new wife Sara Gilbert while at the IHeartRadio Music Awards.
“I love Sara. I’m proud that we had that moment and she’s great. I can’t say enough. Being married to her is better than anything I could ever produce. She’s just a sweetheart. She has a very genuine and warm heart.”
Facebook loves to censor lesbian photos. So dumb. I’ve seen so many offensive straight photos, like people with babies and trying to twerk, sometimes in the same picture. It’s just not fair.
Brittney Griner spoke with Mother Jones about coming out and how it made her change her fashion sense.
When I first came out, I kinda overdid it. I dressed extremely older-boyish, like sagging, and big shirt and big jeans. I was just like, “I’m gonna go extreme.” And then as I got older, the baggy clothes got a little more fitting to my body, but still masculine. Before, I wouldn’t wear tight jeans—”That’s girl! I want guy!” I thought. But now I wear jeans that actually fit me and look good. A lot of people do the preppy look, and the bow ties and the vest and jacket, the blazer and everything, and I started to like it even more.
I think everyone has that phase. I butched up a little but it just wasn’t me. And now BG has some mad style!
Brandi Carlile has signed a new record contract with ATO Records. This means we’re one step closer to new music. Yay!
Robin Roberts has been serving some good looks lately while on her book tour.

“I’m as gay as a two dollar bill, same as you. And I mean no disrespect, because I’m gay. And for a long time… Long before you were even born, in fact. And in the black community and the Jamaican community, that’s not easy. Not at all. As a matter of fact, when I came out publicly in 2006, I lost a large portion of my family. It’s so difficult. I’m grateful for all you younger folks where it’s not that way anymore. But I’m a mom. I have grown children. I’m not sure how old you are but I’m pretty sure at least two of them are older than you. And it was tough worrying that someone would take your children because of who you are.”
