Good afternoon and TGIF!

Happy birthday to Maggie Grace, Cheryl Hines, Nancy Travis, Ricki Lake, Nicole Richie and Faith Hill!

Comic and gay ally Sarah Silverman has a great (and NSFW) video skewering the “new, super f—-ed up” voter ID laws that may impact voter turnout in the upcoming elections.

Here’s a glimpse of out actress Lindsay Lohan in the Lifetime movie Liz & Dick.

And, if you care, here’s a still of Lohan in bed with Charlie Sheen from upcoming film Scary Movie 5.

Scarlett Johansson will be taking her talents to Broadway. Johansson will star as Maggie in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof at the Richard Rodgers Theatre in New York. The play opens on January 17, 2013 so make sure you purchase tickets before they sell out.

Glee‘s Jane Lynch is teaming up with Juno Temple for the drama Afternoon Delight. (Catchy title.) The film follows a “bored housewife looking to spice up her life.”

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is giving hope to gay couples in the U.S. While speaking at the University of Colorado in Boulder Ginsburg was asked by a student about the “equal-protection clause and whether the nation’s high court would consider it applying to sexual orientation.” Although Ginsburg wouldn’t discuss anything in detail she did say, “The Defense of Marriage Act will likely go to the U.S. Supreme Court within the next year.” Umm, about time.

Paris Hilton has official apologized for calling gay men “disgusting.” Glad that’s all cleared up.

Katee Sackhoff (Longmire, Battlestar Galactica) will star in the horror film Oculus. Sackhoff will play a “mother of two children who grow up to be  haunted and terrorized by an evil antique mirror.” How about throwing the haunted mirror away?

On October 3, out comedians Poppy Champlin, Gwen La Roka and Dana Austin will be taking their Queer Queens of Qomedy show to the Comedy Off Broadway night club (161 Lexington Green Circle # 4) in Lexington, KY.
