Bisexual author Piper Kerman’s memoir Orange is the New Black is being made into a TV series for Netflix and Laura Prepon has been cast in the starring role. I just read the book and I honestly don’t see Laura in the part, but I’ll still watch with an open mind! If you’re not familiar with the story, Piper was a Smith College graduate who got involved with an older woman that worked as part of a drug cartel. Piper made one delivery for the woman and, 10 years later, was tracked down by the FBI and served 16 months in prison. Yael Stone has also been cast as one of Piper’s inmates who, well, has sex with other women in the shower. Bad Girls-esque? Sounds like it.

Kelly Osbourne is designing a plus-sized fashion line and cites Beth Ditto as inspiration.
You know I was having fun [creating a line] but no one takes notice of a fat girl in fashion. That’s the truth! It’s sad. That’s why I love women like Beth Ditto who are doing their own clothes. That’s why when my line comes out I’ll never make anything that won’t be translated to plus-size as well. Because everyone deserves to wear fashion.
Hopefully this means she’ll stop bashing Christina Aguilera for her weight gain now!
