Afternoon Delight: A new trailer for “Jack and Diane,” Amy Adams in “The Master”

Tomorrow Logo will run an Absolutely Fabulous Viewers’ Choice Marathon starting at 2 p.m., leading up to the U.S. Premiere of an all new episode of Ab Fab (the third of three new 20th anniversary specials) at 10 pm. Watch a clip from the new special below. Edina, I’ve missed you so.

MSU professor Marc Breedlove has created a Kickstarter page for the upcoming documentary Whom You Love: The Biology of Sexual Orientation about the biology of sexual orientation. The AE reader (and MSU PhD student) who tipped us off about it told us, “It’s going to be a great film and will be a compilation of famous neuroscientists presenting data that suggests sexual orientation is predetermined before birth.”

Speaking of fundraising campaigns, out director Amy Walmann is also trying to get her passion piece made. Walmann’s short thesis film Mockingbird “centers around a lesbian couple who desperately desires to begin a family together, but instead is faced with the unthinkable death of their unborn child. In the wake of their loss they must find a way to reconnect and help each other piece back together their brokeness.”

Please help these filmmakers out if you can.

In more movie news, the feature documentary Venus and Serena, about the super sporty, world-famous Williams sisters, is set to make its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.

Fringe star Jasika Nicole did an adorable Skype interview with The Untitled Mag.

Tonight at 8 p.m. out comedian Nicol Paone (Big Gay Sketch Show) will take the stage at Akbar (4356 W. Sunset Blvd.) in Silverlake, CA.
