Afternoon Delight: Kristen Stewart in drag for “Elle,” Olivia Wilde and Zoe Saldana in “The Words”

Good afternoon and happy Monday!

Happy birthday to Fairuza Balk (The Craft), set designer Chris Hulen (D.E.B.S), Liz Feldman (Two Broke Girls) and House‘s Lisa Edelstein!

Did you all have a good weekend? I did! I was lucky enough to attend An Evening with Women and watch Linda Perry rock out on stage, Wanda Sykes work her comedy magic and I even got to meet the amazing Sia, who was in attendance with out drummer Patty Schemel. (Ladies, take your coats off and stay awhile.)

The night’s event raised more than $450,000 for the Gay & Lesbian center in Los Angeles. Perry, the event’s co-chair and co-host, posted her appreciation on Twitter.

And check out the below picture of Perry holding tight to her lady-love The Talk‘s Sara Gilbert.

Check back soon for our red carpet interviews from the event!

Actress/writer Michelle Paradise (Exes & Ohs) is now working on Thandie Newton‘s new series Rogue.

Newton and Paradise? Yes, I’ll definitely be watching.

Harry Potter‘s Ginny Weasley (actress Bonnie Wright) is all grown up. Wright screened her directorial debut Separate We Come, Separate We Go on May 16 at the Film Short Corner at the Cannes marketplace. The short film will continue to run daily through May 26, and if you want more information on the young director check out her interview with Total Film.

Supermodel Christy Turlington rocks a mustache on Tatler. I don’t mean to brag but my mustache is much better.

Kristen Stewart poses with herself for June’s Elle. Which Stewart do you prefer?

Olivia Wilde and Zoe Saldana star in The Words. Plagiarism never looked so good.

This morning Tellofilms posted a special “behind-the-scenes” video of my mockumentary series McManusLand. If you’re a premium content member head over to their site, check it out and let me know your thoughts.

Tomorrow night at 8 pm out comedian Gloria Bigelow will take the stage at Akbar (4356 W. Sunset Blvd.) in Silverlake, CA.

Video of the day!

This video is an oldie but goodie from director Shamim Sarif (The World Unseen, I Can’t Think Straight) entitled “Why Art Matters.” Enjoy!
