Great LezBritain: Interview with Kathryn Prescott and Lily Loveless of "Skins"
This AfterEllen.com column, "Great LezBritian," will be a fortnightly stroll through the very best of British lesbo-centric entertainment and culture. Plus there will be some jolly good interviews with the top ladies who are waving the flag for gay UK.
Last year, Series 3 of the British drama Skins gave us one of the most beautifully depicted relationships in the form of Naomi and Emily.
At one stage, we thought we would only ever see the pair "hold hands through a cat flap." However they confronted their fears, and, in a truly liberating coming out scene, they strolled off hand-in-hand at their college ball, and thus "Naomily" was born.

This week, Great LezBritain is celebrating the return of the new series of Skins (E4, Thursdays at 10 pm) by having a chat with the on-screen couple.
Kathryn Prescott and Lily Loveless talk about their lesbian fans, their final series together and the ladies that turn their heads in real life. Kat may also have suggested that the pair will have a rosy end in series 4.
Great LezBritain had it whispered in their ear that Kathryn Prescott and Lily Loveless will be signing the Skins novel on Friday, February 5, at 6pm at HMV in Oxford Street, London. So if you live in the area or indeed you are just willing travel, get down there early and go get something signed. Nice.
"Great LezBritain" authors Sarah, a Londoner, and Lee, a Glaswegian, met in a gay discotheque one bleak mid winter, eight years ago and have been shacked up together ever since. i really love these two. such great chemistry, not only on screen but off aswell. and they're both stunning obviously =P
and considering they're both not gay they handle the whole thing (ie, talking about playing gay / bi characters) really tactfully and openly.
i'll hate it so much if "naomily" don't get a happy ending... they really are the most interesting thing about Skins, despite not being the main characters as Lily says.

Completely agree. I watched a similar interview with Lisa & Merv who play Panda and Thomas and while the're a great couple on screen there was no spark or chemistry at all off screen. Unlike these two.

I think we've waited ages for an interview with Kathryn and Lily on afterellen.com, and you guys finally gave us that interview and it's in video form. Thank You! These two are the best and I will miss them and their characters when Series 4 of Skins is over. The future can only bring them new roles for all of us to fall in love with.
