It’s not every day that a network television series that had been thrown on the cancellation heap gets a second chance at success, but that’s what has happened with the Fox sitcom, Breaking In. The show was canned after a short run last year but returned with new episodes last week.
Starring Christian Slater, the series focuses on the employees of a high-tech security company and, in these new episodes, a prominent addition to the cast is TV staple Megan Mullally, who we loved for years as Karen Walker on Will & Grace and also pops up regularly on current series like Happy Endings, Parks & Recreation and Childrens Hospital. And while beautiful Odette Annable will be departing soon due to her commitments to House, she could return once that series wraps its eight-year run later this Spring. In the meantime, pretty blonde Brit Erin Richards also joins the cast as the in-control assistant to Mullally’s wacky boss.
AfterEllen.com caught up with Mullally at a Fox Press Junket in January so even though she didn’t have too much scoop on the show, it’s always great to check in with her, even when she decides to clean her glasses in the middle of the interview!
