Jennie McNulty Presents: Walking Funny With... Vickie ShawThis week, Jennie takes a walk with comedian Vickie Shaw. In addition to getting a peek at her athletic prowess at Kate Clinton's annual P-town Women's Week touch football game, you'll also hear some hysterical material about "ziplining" in the jungle on an Olivia Cruise.
The girls go a little deeper, as Vickie talks about coming out as a married Southern Baptist with three kids and how her "gay comedy" was received in the South. Jennie McNulty Presents Walking Funny With ... Vickie Shaw

Hey Vickie H-town over here Woohoo! :) Vickie and Jennie thanx for making my day. Ya'll are hilarious!
I've been walking n sometimes running thanx to you Jennie. And I have lost 20pounds in 3months. My energy has gone up, I feel more postive. I'm really proud of myself and now my friends are joining me for a walk at the park.
Thanx so much!! Keep the blogs coming :)

I've always enjoyed Vickie Shaw's comedy. I like how she animates her stories during her stand-up rountine. She's a true inspiration and caring indiviual too. Enjoyed her short coming out story w/ Jenny M. Great interview.
I got to play in that football game against those ladies...
And Jennie isn't kidding about Vickie! I was fortunate enough to be in P-Town and got to meet all the comedians and play "against" them in the football game. Imagine my surprise to see myself in that clip from the game :) Very cool! Oh...and Vickie wasn't the only one tackling people. I was brought down by Michelle Balan. That grass was cold and wet...
Jennie's show was great and thank God, was not mad when my cell phone went off during her act (I had NO idea I had left it in my coat pocket). Thanks for being so great (funny) about it Jennie!
If you haven't seen Vickie's story on Logo, you should. I can't remember the exact name but she was featured on a story about coming out later in life. Very touching.

Vickie is the best!
I discovered Vickie Shaw on logo and I think she's fabulous and hilarious and it's too bad not much logo programming works here in Canada. Anyway, I think she's wonderful and by far the funniest and most endearing comedian I think I've ever heard. She's just brilliant and I hope she does another show with Jenny soon. Loved the shirt by the way, Vickie. You rock!
