This week on Gal Pals, Emily and I discuss the rumors surrounding Ellen Page and Drew Barrymore's friendship, and why Drew's bisexuality is rarely talked about.

Also, we give our votes on the NewNewNext Awards category Best Lesbian Kiss on TV, sponsored by AfterEllen.com. And it wouldn't be Gal Pals if we didn't give an update on Lindsay Lohan, who was on Ellen last week, dishing on her break-up with Sam.

    My vote's for Emily and Naomi for sure! I think they're so adorable and I loved their whole storyline. And Drew Barrymore and Ellen Page together would be amazing. I could totally see that.

     i just love these blog!and also the idea that drew and ellen are going out that will be so good, i love both of them will be soo cool that they are together, I definitely like more the grren wall of the 1st episode!!

    doesn't that kind of look like Catherine Keener next to Drew in that photo? Not a very flattering photo but that's the first thing I noticed when I looked at the photo.

    Also, great vlog!

    That totally looks like Catherine Keener.  She and Ellen Page were in an indie film together a few years ago.

    Drew going cougar on Ellen? Yes please, that would be amazing. And oh yea, roller derby, so gay. I can't wait for the movie to come out, it looks like it'll be amazing.

    This is my new favorite vlog :D 
    And Trish, yay for loving Skins! It's amazing, I bought the box set of series 3 last week, and its seriously starting to affect my chances of going to uni in september, but its just too addictive! Meh, essays can wait!
    I'll definately be voting for Naomi and Emily, but I do also love Arizona and Callie, can't wait for the UK for catch up on their storyline :)

    emily cracks me up! love shortened words :)

    i was debating whether to vote for ellen and portia or naomi and emily for the same reasons you guys voted for them but in the end i went with skins because i really really like the show.

    oh and i have totally been holding out for ellen page to announce her gayness. i feel it coming... alright fine i know it may be a long shot but i'm still hoping. although nuzzled neck? hmm...

    I forgot about Drew. I would have voted for her in the 50 out women thing. I think Drew is still too young to be cougar for anyone though. She's mad hot.

    Wow, Ellen and Drew, that is so cool. I would love to be Ellen's cougar, lol.
    Now down to business. My vote for best kiss is Julia and Wanda. I love them both so much and they are so, so funny. I just wish I would get to see the show more. I should look to see if they have episodes online.

    I still have naughty images of Drew and Ellen running through my head ;)

    Like in actual REALITY!?? Since when!!! Have I been dead since this news came out!? Oh well {beats forehead}.

    If the rumours are true - good luck to them. Ellen is way cute and Drew is really nice (met her some years back and she was very open about her bisexuality).

    Well I didn't know that Drew Barrymore was a bisexual at all! It certainly makes the rumor of her Ellen Page dating that much more plausible-and I REALLY REALLY hope that's true!

    As far as the hottest lesbian kiss I'm voting for Tibette because I haven't seen any of those other kisses but I'm definitely going to look for 'em.
