Cat on the Prowl: Melanie Hutsell

This week, Cat is on the prowl with comedian Melanie Hutsell. The Saturday Night Live alum tells Cat about working with Lorne Michaels at the tender age of 23 and her days in the Chicago improv scene as a founding member of the Annoyance Theater.

A straight woman who loves the gays, Hutsell doesn't have much to offer in the way of lady-catching tips, but her latest impression might.

    Once again another great Cat on the Prowl. The Paula Deen thing was hilarious. Cat you continue to amaze with your hyperactive self, but this time you have out done yourself with the whole backflipping thing:) Thanks for the great vlog and keep it up!!

    Hey, that miusic at the end is from Cathy Debuono and Jill Bennetts weekly show on shewired.

    It's a cool talk show.

    Its weird that they used the same music here that they have been using over there.

    That impersonation was dead on and hilarious! The butter cocktail stirrer was genius. Yuh jus' can't get enough butter, y'all!

    I thought Melanie Hutsell was a Californian.  Actually, I think this might be the first time I've ever heard her speak in her own "accent."  Besides that, I have fond childhood memories of watching her impersonate Tori Spelling, Amy Fisher, Tonya Harding, Jan Brady, and Blossom/Mayim Bialik.  Glad to see she's back. :-)

    I totally forgot about Melanie on SNL! She was awesome! Her Paula Deen is spot on, ya'll. Glad to hear she is getting back into the biz. Jill and Faith Soloway are the BOMB!!
