Cat on the Prowl: Lynda Montgomery (Episode 19)

Cat's starting 2009 off with a bang by teaming up with lesbian comedian Lynda Montgomery for the gayest Cat on the Prowl ever.

The ladies talk about being out "BeforeEllen," Dinah Shore, fur bikinis and Lynda's work with the Animal Match Rescue Team. Lynda introduces Cat to some of the finest bitches in Long Beach, even though it's not what Cat had in mind.

I understand....

...how hard it is to be a lesbian who is allergic to cats.

I, too, am allergic to cats (severely so....eye itching and swelling, sneezing, scratching throat and then starts the weezing and trying to catch my breath. Fun times!).

I don't hate cats, in that I want them dead or anything, but I do dislike them a lot because of the physical reaction I have.  Try explaining that to a woman who loves her cat(s)! It's never fun. ugh!

Luckily I'm not allergic to dogs. *phew*

Anyway, enjoyable episode, as always.

Dogs!

Cat, it made me a little sad when you didn't know how to react to those first two dogs but you and that poodle were adorable. Hypo-allergenic dog for Cat? Maybe? Okay, well even though your allergies limit your animal activity I still love ya Cat Davis. Hope you had fun in Indy over the holidays.

Can't wait for the next episode.

I'm allergic to cats also!

Fortunately, most of the lesbians I know have dogs.  It's best to house train your dogs and not paper train them.  Not only do they go on any paper, they will go on the floor that the paper is lying on because they ID the room the paper is in with the potty.  Love dogs but I won't ever sleep with a woman who allows her dog(s) to sleep in her bed.  They should have their own bed.

Cat, I'm curious about your comment about not wanting to see the dog's penis because you aren't a lipstick lesbian.  What were you thinking about?  Lipstick lesbians aren't into penis' anymore then any other lesbian - hence the name lesbian.  Lipstick lesbians are just feminine lesbians.  Some say they will only date other feminine lesbians and not butch women, but that depends on the woman.

p.s. the marrying my dog thing was gross

Ha Ha

Umm 'cause a dog's penis is sometimes refered to as "lipstick" because it looks like lipstick. Ha ha. It's a joke.

That was an amusing episode.

That was an amusing episode. I am a total dog person. I will go out and adopt a dog, but not a cat. It's not that I don't like cats, they are just not the pet of choice. Lynda's jokes at the end were funny. :)

Dudes!

I think this vlog taught me something and possibly made me a better person. :)

Long story short... Last night I saw a tiny dog crossing the street by itself. It was clearly someone's pet, but had no human companion in sight. (No collar or tags, but a cute corduroy coat.) With my new found dog confidence, I picked him up and went in search of his owners. I went in the direction he came from, and, luckily, it turned out he belonged to someone with a business just a couple blocks away. They hadn't realized he'd gotten out, but they were very glad to have him back.

I'm not sure I would have even noticed this dog before doing this vlog. Hooray--I'm not terrified of dogs anymore. And the dog is not lost. Or in the pound. Everybody wins!

 Thanks, Lynda. :)

xo,

cat (and kevyn)

Gay poodles...

I have a labradoodle, which is a poodle/labrador cross, and she's pretty gay. A male dog tried to get with her at the park, and she took him down. I'm so proud of my little girl. :)

Great episode as always, and congratulations on your recent dog rescue, Cat.

Allergies suck

I'm allergic to both cats and dogs - but I like them both. Usually, I pop a Benadryl and then go play with them :p

T.H.E.M.E. S.O.N.G..?

There was some good information this episode. Are you really that much of a nerd in person, Cat? HEY, what is goin' on with the theme song? You had a good rap goin' on with your cousin, then you had Susan and Georgia, and I surely thought you'd use one of the songs you all sang together, but nope. No way to start out the new year, Miss Davis. Still, good episode.
