Spanish web series has girls meeting girls

If you speak Spanish, or even the language of love, Chica Busca Chica might be a web series worth checking out. In English the title translates to Girl Meets Girl, which is something most of us here can understand.

AfterEllen.com reader Paige alerted us that the web series airs on Terra TV and focuses on a group of friends seeking of love and "finding themselves." There are 16 episodes available online, and the first season was recently released on DVD.

A few of the episodes are available with English subtitles on CBC, and you can also view some short trailers on DailyMotion, like this one:


They have their own Carmen, and I personally think she could rival Sarah Shahi in the looks department. Maybe I am just really into the accent.

So, are you into this sort of Spanish L Word?

    the episodes for the show have been removed. Is there another place I can look for them?

    Hm, you're right. I don't know if there is anywhere else that has them with the English subtitles but I will do some digging. The user must have just removed them!

    It looks to me like an improved new version of "Apples - La sèrie", another Spanish web series focusing on a group of lesbian girls...

    So... Yay for Spanish productions! :)

    And, as usual, Italians still look out the window... (-_-)'

    I love Carmen!!

    They are all in youtube but the quality of some is not very good…

    There is a web of downloads where is the first season, but I don’t know if I can post the link here =/

    ...Anyway, is not too hard to find =)

    and can't wait for the next season! besides seeing carmen (so hot), it's also very funny (check out ep 13).

    I only hope that they finally could do the second season!

    I am Spanish, so I have not problems with the language but if I find them with English subtitles I will let you know ;)

    yet another great spanish production after los hombres de paco! I think, I´ll stick with the european stories. me encanta! me gusta mucho la relación entre carmen y nines, es escribido muy bien! además son las chicas muy guapisimas sobre todo carmen! y otra motivación para aprender el idioma!

    Ohh if only I would have paid attention in my high school spanish class and not just used the interent for all my homework.

    Here's a roundup about spanish productions with summaries and some information where to watch it with english subtitles, whether webseries or tv. But Chica Busca Chica has only 4 subtitled webisodes on veoh.com, not hosted by themselves. The host of the veoh-videos got asked if he/she would subtitle the rest but never replied.

    I've seen all the episodes of the series and I think is really good, but most of all very funny. In relation to Carmen, she's totally hot, just my type pf girl. It's an excelent recomendation Trish, that's for sure.

    So i took 3 years of spanish in high school, and I was like..let me check this out.

    I only understand about half of it, but I do know Nines is oh so fine. :D
