Rumer Willis joins Lifetime's military familyThough most know Rumer Willis as the daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis (or perhaps even Ashton Kutcher's step-daughter), the 20-year-old is a budding star of her own accord. This summer she appeared alongside Anna Faris as part of the sorority ensemble that receives a Playboy makeover in The House Bunny, and now she's signed on to guest star on the Lifetime series Army Wives.
Army Wives has maintained a large viewership since its debut, despite some dramatic changes within the characters as well as the writers behind the scenes. However, they've been able to hire some great guest stars for short stints, such as Ana Ortiz (Ugly Betty) and Marsha Mason (Goodbye Girl). Willis will play the wife of a young soldier who comes home from Iraq with an injury. She will start filming in North Carolina next week, so the episode won't air until Oct. 12. After the appearance, she'll be seen in two other films that are currently in post-production for 2009.
Do you think Rumer Willis has the makings of a star? Can she act? Submitted by on September 2, 2008 - 9:00am. |
