This week, the East Coast Retro Review Crew (Danielle and Denae) have a review of the ultra campy 1990s music video "Obsession" by Army of Lovers. It's a weird one, but for fans of the extremely flamboyant band (or '90s Euro-funk-trash in general), it's not to be missed. One quick warning for the squeamish: There is a bit of (very, very fake) blood ahead. Watch at your own peril! Retro Reviewing: "Obsession" Next time, the reviewers plan on tackling another queer-flavored music video. Submitted by on July 18, 2009 - 12:00pm. |

The Glamest band that ever glam'd
Thank you for reminding me about this band! Their music videos are the most awesome thing on the planet, they never fail to make me smile. Gotta say though, I wish you guys had reviewed "Crucified", or "King Midas" as I think those two videos are a lot crazier than "Obsession". But it's Army of Lovers, all of their videos are insane, and so fabuluosly gay.
Whenever you guys get back to reviewing films, I'd love to see Monster or The Hours get the retro treatment.
My mum.
I just had to say this, hah, my um went to University with Alexander, and i've met him a few times 8D
Last time was on the "Milk" galapremiere in Stockholm :D
And btw, he looks even more... weird, now ;)
