Gay Girls Who Game: "Uncharted 2: Among Thieves"

Always lovely to see you girls..Love the vlog as always....Holding out on buying Uncharted 2 until I am ready to let days of my life disappear as I get lost in the game.  Have finally converted my girlfriend into a gamer...she even bought a 360 and she bought the first Left 4 Dead...

Also, have discovered Out of the Blue on YouTube....what did you think of the short lived romance of Peta and Poppy and wish I could see more of it....

I can't tell you how much I want Uncharted 2. Of course, I'd have to actually buy a ps3 first. And the first game. :(  Damn Claudia Black's sexy voice making me want it.  (I miss Farscape!)

Have you played the L4D2 demo? I'm beyond excited for it. We're definitely having a marathon versus session, right? :D

I'm going to get Dragon Age this week too, because I am Bioware's bitch and an RPG nerd.  I might as well just quit my PhD now, lol.

So I posted my comment just before the end of the video and I have to say that the Brutal Legend review was the single greatest thing I have ever seen on the interwebs.  I was laughing my ass off the whole way through.

First of all, awesome review, the Brutal Legends bit was very funny and very good. Probably time consuming to make but definetly worth it!

I (sadly) did not finish any of the games on my list, though I made some progress. I have been playing borderlands CO-OP since it came out and many hours have been invested there. Its really well done, we often digress from the story line to just shoot stuff up or drive around. Looking forward to your review of that.

I can't believe you missed a golden opportunity for Gaming vs Real Life... Zombie Edition! That parade would have worked wonderfully. Thanks for the bunny reviews... however i request more air time for evil bunny!

Great vlog. Loved that clip review of Brutal Legends!  Will you guys be reviewing the new Super Mario Bros game when it comes out? And did you place a bet for the Melb Cup?

I'm just counting down the days til exams are over! I think that zombie march you had in brisbane would be a Zombie Lurch. We had one in Perth too, a couple of my mates participated and by the looks of their photos, a whole lotta ppl were a bit confused.

The Pride parade went down a treat! Thank god for booking a hotel room in the city this year so we could clean ourselves up after. Very sticky, but tasty choc syrup based fake blood was everywhere! It was a night of missing memories, random photos, numerous drinks, bouncy castles, a bucking penis and ruby rose as DJ. :)

#4. okay the Brutal Legend review was just genius. pure gold.. it was awesomesauce through and through. not only was it hilarious from start to finish but being a lover of all things Gro Hammerseng and Katja Nyberg, seeing their heads on little line drawn bodies just about made me squeal with joy. 

If any game was going to get me to purchase a PS3, it would be Uncharted 2.  Your review and the discussion of the role Chloe and Elena play (i.e more than just a Princess Peach) as well as how good the script is really have me thinking about getting yet another system.

But then reality comes in and smacks me upside the head.  So no new system for me...but I may buy this for my brother and suddenly find reason to visit him more than once every 6 weeks.

Oh, I second ufos_are_reals comment on your hair and the pumpkin and the use of aweseomesauce for your Brutal Legend review.

But you know what game is awesomesauce on a OMGburger?  Dragon Age Origins. I've been playing it...I didn't go to sleep on Tuesday because I was playing it and then suddenly it was six in the morning.  I've even reached the start of the flirty comments with both my romantic options at present.  And I'm playing a dwarf!! You can play as a dwarf!! I rolled a dwarf rogue and am trying to use an archer build, so she's more like my new D&D character.  Oh and guess who voices one of the characters?  Claudia Black! She's been busy with VA stuff.  

You know, for the most part, voice acting in games has gotten so much better then that first Resident Evil game with the stilted stilted dialogue of which "Jill <pause> Don't <minipause> open <pause> that door.  Even if they have unidentifiable accents.

Wow top marks on the L word rating, I really gotta get this game. I was wondering if I could justify £40 for it and ur sayin its worth buying a ps3 for lol. Just bought Tomb Raider Underworld so will prolly finish that first. So far this Tomb Raider seems pretty much the same as previous games, I am enjoying it but it would be nice for the game to progress a bit and do something different.

Brutal Legend review was very funny and omg so right about princess peach! Will never be able to look at her the same way.

Downloaded Trine from the playstation network this week. Its really fun and its nice to play a platform game for a change.

Hey girls, I am back and totally enjoyed the episode.

First thing I gotta say is I agree with ufos_are_real your beauty got enhanced, did something with your hair? It looks good.

Second thing, I have missed watching you ladies, but alas haven't gotten a new computer yet.

Third thing, I think Tracy is trying to say is about Chloe and Elena is that even though both are kick ass Elena is more the cutie, pretty, goodie goodie. While Chloe is the bad girl and overly the dangerously sexy feel and image. Which I have to totally say Chloe wins hands down for me over Elena. :)

I will be looking forward to the next episode but for now I will retrack and watch episodes of both my fav girls I have missed out. Till next time ladies. MUUUUAAAHH.

I’m back!!

Though I didn’t miss a single episode! I’ve been … oh…  too much to tell..

Good news, my GF finally got onboard with my gaming love and got me Infamous… the bad news I broke up with her (and not because of the gaming)!  

Gaming unfortunately has taken a back seat for the time being as I was moving and also more importantly getting ‘back out there’ so to speak! Ha – what a nightmare!

So the last feedback you were still promising some Velvet Assassin action... However, to be honest I think you need to wait till the New Year with so many amazing games coming out at the moment. Assassins Creed 2, COD: Modern Warfare 2, LFD:2, Mass Effect 2… etc..

Speaking of amazing games – I just bought Uncharted 2 today!! I am beyond excited to play this one!! I also think it would be great to get GGWG/LG online for a shoot’em up!! Bags playing with Elena.. I mean as Elena!! (Sorry, accidental spoonerism..Of sorts!!)

What do you girls (ok just Tracy, not Angela – know you’re not a music gamer girl) think of DJ Hero?

Excellent vlog as always ladies.I agree with with above posters- Angela, did you get your hair cut? It looks great! And I can't belive your dog just slept there the entire time- mine would be snoring!

Halloween was fun, and I LOVED your pumpkin- very awesome. I went as a Zombie Baseball Player- mainly because I already owned a baseball shirt and hat, and it was cheap. Yay cheap halloween costumes!

Uncharted 2 makes me want to get a PS3- but then I look at my Xbox 360 and all the games coming out on it, and it makes me want to go over and cuddle it. Not in a creepy, sexual way- but in a “yay I love my xbox” sort of way. But I love a game with a good story and a good script.

Ok, the Brutal Legend review made me laugh for DAYS. The Princess Peach comment? Hilarious. That was probably one of the funniest things I have seen in a long time- thanks for the good laugh.

I am afraid my friends are preparing to not see me for two months- since I plan on locking myself in my apartment and gaming. In fact, I have already started- I got Dragon Age: Origins and pretty much have been playing it for HOURS at a time. And I have seen a few of my friends also spending their life away on that game (I'm looking at you, Misajingles, Han M, and Thunderpants) But this game has way re-playability. That and my human female just got into a romance with another human female- I do love Bioware for growing a pair and making sexuality fluid for both the girls AND the guys in this game. Put that with Left 4 Dead 2 and Assassins Creed 2 and I might as well have an IV of Mountain Dew or Coke hooked up- I will need the caffeine!

Aw, I thought the trailer for FF XIII looked neat! I think there some RPG rule/cliche that much of the voice acting just has to be really, really bad. At any rate, I am not position to criticize others' accents, since English is not my first language. However, I do think you girls' accents are pretty! :)

Uncharted 2 has also made me consider getting a PS3, hee hee. I really liked your review of it. Oh, and the Brutal Legend review was hilarious.

I agree with Xandugrrl and Thunderpants, Dragon Age: Origins is such a wonderful game for so many reasons! You should definitely check that one out. And not just for the same-sex romances, though those are very cute. It touches on quite a few political issues - sexism, racism, and class differences. It is interesting to play a game with elves, dwarfs, magic, demons, and so on and still be able to say "Hey, that is so much like real life."
