Wow

I've been playing the sims 3 non-stop. I'm a shameless fangirl and have been since 6th grade when the original came out. My only peev about the game is that my toons seems to randomly move out.

That microsoft project is insane. I agree about the future feeling.

That pink rod is adorable.

It seems youtube is plastered with ads for Prototype and I got to say, it looks amazing.

great job ladies

I've been following EA like an addict.  I've kinda kissed my October - January goodbye, cause i know I'll be plastered in my chair, with the 360 controller in my hand the whole time.  Jeebus... so many games coming out around then.

I'm trying to keep an open and possitive mind about Left 4 Dead 2.  It seems rather rushed to me.  I don't know if the time gap between the 1st game and the 2nd is enough to make enough gameplay changes to make the game worthwhile.  I'm worried it will just be 4 new characters in slightly different settings.  Trying to keep possitive about it.

Sims 3 is AWESOME.  love it... the customization options are incredible, plus I've been playing it for how many hours now and i still feel like i discover fun hidden things every once in a while.  I'm having a resolution issue which sucks, and i sent a support question into EA almost two weeks ago (and despite their 24 hour reponse promise) have yet to hear back.

Infamous looks like tons of fun.  Makes me long for a PS3... but i don't need it... i really don't.

Infamous

Glad to hear that you like it. I downloaded the demo and it starts you out at (what seems like) a random point in the middle of the game. So it took me a while to get the hang of the controls, but once I did I thought the game was a lot of fun. I'm assuming if I play from the beginning that control issues won't be a problem.

Right now though I'm still really hooked on Fallout 3. Still trying to get all of the ps3 trophies and whatnot and this is my second time through.

Plus I just downloaded Myst to my iPhone, so I've been playing a lot of that too. Man that game is just as fun as it was the first time I played it back in the day. And those brothers still creep me out!

But I'll definitely have to add Infamous to my "must buy" list since I just keep hearing really great things about it.

Great vlog ladies, keep it up!

Finished up Resistance 2 and now I am addicted to Nazi Zombies on COD......Cant stop playing it........................................level 13 is the best I can do.........any tips.......?

Love you guys.....and Tracy seemed a little extra "happy" this episode....loved it!

Keep up the good work!

ET plus E3 equals a happy me!

When I was a kid my mom always used to yell at me for sitting too close to the tv while playing video games because she claimed that the radiation was slowly killing me.  Hopefully for the sakes of those people playing Project Natal, she was incorrect! I can't believe that i'm turning into my mother already but as I watched those clips I couldn't help thinking "you're too close to screen, you stupid idiots! You are going to radiate yourselves!"

Anyway, Project Natal is not Mrs Butterworth's cup of English tea! I'd rather relax quietly in a chair with my traditional controller than sit around waiting while one of my corny friends pretends to unscrew the bolts on my imaginary race car with their imaginary wrench.  No thank you!

Thanks for another great show!

Toodles for now, my dears! Have a lovely week!

Couple thoughts

Definately not interested (so far) in Project Natal. I don't want to be the controller, especially if it behaves similar to what we have now. I have no interest in stomping around the room or flailing my arms around. Other than Wii Bowling, I'd rather sit down in comfort and play.

I am excited and disappointed regarding Left 4 Dead. I was sort of a late joiner to the game and while I was excited about Survival mode, I was hoping for some map packs. Instead, I have to pay 60 bucks for some new material. New material? Great! Spending that much when I have a hand full of other games I want? Not so great.

Infamous is a rent at best. The pop ups are annoying, the graphics (buildings/streets) are bland, and some of the mechanics of the game are infuriating. I can scale a building but a fence gets in my way? Okay.

I was hoping for more information/details on Bioshock 2. For some reason, I am irked that they are including multiplayer. Yes, I know, it's added play time but Bioshock was such a story focused game that I just don't think multiplayer would be that interesting. Spend more time on Single Player.

ETTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!! <3

there really are no words to express how happy that ET impression made me. i LOVE love love love loved it!  also loved the reallife fishing but im still convinced that nothing beats Legend of Zelda fishing, it will forever hold a place in my heart :)

also yayyyy for the prospect of the tony hawk board trial, the project Natal looks beyond amazing and im quite certain i will have nightmares about left 4 dead zombies tonight. and i promise to not travel out of the country anymore so i will no longer miss any vlogs because you guys really are just too priceless and i adore you both.. and the eyebrow wiggle of course lol

spotticus's picture

Fishin'!

Ha! I can only imagine how "real" fishing would have been enhanced by an underwater video camera and some jerk (a-hole brother in law, perhaps?) yelling at you what to do with your rod to land those monster perch!  Never thought you guys would compare real vs. gaming fishing. Well done, well done (not the perch, of course, but the video).  ; )

Left 4 Dead 2...Chainsaws....wicked cool!  DOOM flashback.

Loved the bunny impression of ET. Get some sleep ladies! STAT!  ; )

Thanks for the E3 coverage, definitely going to check out the full coverage at LG. Natal has potential, especially for kids, but for old folks like me, unless they come up with a "Hey you kids! Get Offa My Lawn" video game, I will be happy to sit in my rocking chair while killing zombies with a chainsaw via the controller, thank you very much! : )

Blast shards and dead drops

First off, mad props to Tracy for getting the E3 finger signage right first time, dunno who looked more shocked at that - Tracy or Angela.  Hah.

Microsoft definitely blew everyone away at E3, with Sony second and Nintendo definitely in a resting-on-laurels mode due to their king of sales status. With uber high sales figures for the Wii and DSi, it seems that the envelope is no longer being pushed by Nintendo.

The worst, worst, worst thing at E3 (well prior to >LEAK!<) was the Sony PSP Go. I mean ugh. Could they have come up with a more ugly and dated design? Um, no I don’t think so. And where’s the value add? Is there an inbuilt camera? No. Is there touch screen? No. Phone even? No. Is no UMD the best they can do? Sheesh. Just bad. It’s made me appreciate my 1st gen PSP more now. The pricy PSP Cartman is going to sink big-time. No wonder they are keeping the PSP3000 around.

InFamous is an awesome awesome game. I’ll freely admit I’m a sucker for sand-box style games and this title ticks all the boxes. Collecting things? Check. Missions? Check. Killing stuff? Check. Gut check? Check. Cole moves so fluidly and easily around the environment that the game play styles are many and varied. The no gun thing threw me at first, but the way the electricity is used, you just don’t miss it after a while. And there is always kicking the %@$! out of enemies with the melee move. Most satisfying, that. I put down Resistance 2 when I got this game, and I doubt I’ll be whalin’ on the Chimera again anytime soon.

:)

I'm looking forward to your Sims 3 Review.. I'm having a great time with it, though I had to go out and buy more ram when my sims set the kitchen on fire, and it crashed my laptop :P (That shows how much I game on my PC).

I've made a virtual life for my girlfriend and I complete with shoddy house that still manages to house a huge plasma TV and 360. In my virtual life however I am a cop, and she is a criminal.. I don't imagine that is going to end well.

As for Project Natal/Milo; I really think this is a lot of hype with a long, long way to go. Its hard for me to get excited about something thats so far away. Plus, I agree with everyone else here. Give me a couch and my controller over karate chopping around the living room any day.

Will you guys be reviewing Prototype?

Good job with the fishing, I only hope to be that lucky out on the water this weekend! :)

E3 Wickedness

Yo Girls,

Your favorite Jamaican girl is back. The time you girls were going through tech probs my CPU died..... ~silent~...... may it R.I.P. Still lookin to get a new one but for now borrowing a friends laptop.

Well reference to E3, soo many new games out...0_0. For now I will just look for the new DS games. Hoping to get a XBox360 by xmas or so, if finances straighten out. Then I will look about joining you all on Xbox Live.

Now the Project Natal... looks interesting but I think I will stick with a good old controller.

Fishing.... nice catch girls. Cast your lines in the Caribbean waters maybe you will catch me ~winks~

Hope to catch you all for the next episode.

Nuff love and respect. Keep the peace.

OMFG

OMFG......How totally amazing did the L4D 2 trailer look!!! I'm polishing my controller in anticipation! (ok maybe I'm not quite that sad but I'm close). Like you, I enjoyed the original characters but there's nothing wrong with a few tweaks and some new blood to kick things off.

MGS... On the Xbox you say....surely not! I adored MGS4, top notch graphics, in depth (sometimes maybe too much) story line, and characters that you've come to know and love over the years, but I kinda like the fact that its a ps3 only title, mainly so I can taunt people that don't have one about just how darn spectacular it is! ;)

My fellow ps3 buds keep on at me about infamous and the fact that I should be shot for not owning it yet, I'm glad you enjoyed it, I think certain aspects may be similar to prototype, the obvious one being that your just a walking weapon.

I can't afford infamous right now so I'm going back to older games that I'd previously overlooked. I went throught Kane and Lynch pretty quick but am now enjoying the wonderment that is Fallout 3, alas I now want my own pip boy! I screwed up slightly though and cannot get the science achievement grrrr.

I still haven't finished Drakes Fortune but what I have played so far I've quite liked, it just hasn't really made me want to play it non stop, maybe 2 will be better.

Thanks for the great vlog, look forward to more soon.

MGS on Xbox?

Please tell me that doesn't mean the next MGS will be exclusively on Xbox, I only have a PS3 and part of the reason I got a PS3 not an Xbox360 was to play MGS4 (which I love, it gets an L word rating of Jenny from me as in crazy, gorgeous, funny but can be annoying at times). I hate how Xbox steals games when they have already been on playstation, like they did with dead or alive!

I had a go of the Infamous demo, seems good and after hearing this review its going on my list of games to buy.

Can't wait for Sims 3 review. My sister has it and has been playin it loads. I've had a try, seems fun I think the traits thing is cool. I like to have an evil shower.

Shameless...!

E3 was pretty rocking this year and seems to have turned any infidel!!

So much to mention I don’t know where to begin!

Love the news bites on LG! They were really great – thank you!

You girls most certainly need to do a game to life comparison on skateboarding when the Tony Hawk game is released. Also I’m thinking a snowboarding session as well, seeing winter has hit down under! I love snowboarding… I actually use to race for Australia a few years ago… Speaking of the above, which now leads perfectly onto a shameless plug!! – I co-run a group call EXTREMEGIRLS! (find us on: facebook or http://extremegirls.wordpress.com) in the UK.

A little about us:- A group for extreme sports lovers, enthusiasts and first timers.

This group aimed specifically at gay women and their straight girl friends who want to discover new sports or get better at the ones they do in a fun, friendly and non-competitive environment.

No bitching, no cliques and sceney stuff, just laughs - and a bit of unavoidable personal danger!

Back to gaming – I’m looking forward to seeing what you have to say about Velvet Assassin…

I also bought Mass Effect for my PC (seeing I’m not allowed to get an Xbox 360) and I can’t get the damn thing to work!! Driving me crazy... my system is fine... has anyone else had problems? Help?!

New Zelda! OMG I cannot wait to find out more about it!!

Nice to see it was friendly fishing!

Looking forward to the next Vlog.

Lol thanks for the mention

Lol thanks for the mention made me laugh! Yeh I have been playing infamous it reminded me a little bit of true crime on the ps2 (which was rubbish in comparison) with the whole good/evil cleaning up the streets sort of thing. The main hold-up I had was that the cutscene graphics were a little crap except the comic book ones which were pretty cool.

I'll agree though...an odd game. Kinda pushes you to be good I think. I liked the 6-axis use though. Also it's better than Protoype which everyone keeps comparing it to...

I kinda am the opposite to you, I though project natal looked a bit gimmicky :/ was not too impressed really. I'd just feel a bit silly flailing my hands around in the air I guess, might be a bit limited. I was more impressed by the sony idea because it gives you something to hold...I liked the bit when he fired the arrows.

Lol on the MGS thing haha it's quite bold of him to do another Raiden game!

The closer you get to the light, the greater your shadow becomes, but don't be afraid...
