New vlog! Woot!
Great vlog today! Congrats on 11 years and becoming an Australian citizen!
I am really jealous of all the singstar games being released everywhere but the U.S. The wireless mics look awesome. I will have to do some checking to see if those are being released here. Anyway, I enjoyed watching Tracy "do" Pink. :D
I was interested in playing The Godfather game. I just may have to check it out after seeing your review.
Infamous on PS3 is going pretty good pre-release reviews. Any plan to review that one when it comes out?
Sweet
Happy Anniversary
First, Happy Anniversary!
Second - You have some advance footage of Beyone Good and Evil and don't mention it in your vlog? How will people know to go and visit and look at the clip? Which is truly outstanding. I can't wait until it comes out.
as per your last comments episode...?? Here are some real world/game activities
Chopping wood, pouring drinks, forging weapons (from Fable 2)
Bowling, Darts, Poker, Blackjack, dancing (From pretty much any sandbox style game)
Dodgeball and Table Tennis
And of course - Cooking
I have a question, I have Saints Row 2 (which I love, it's totally insane) and I still play it quite a bit. I also have GTA4 (I stopped playing it at the shoot out/cousin mission). How would Godfather 2 be, from an enjoyment perspective, and would it be worth picking up, since I already have a sandbox game I love.
Speaking of games with not so great reviews - Velvet Assassin was a lot more fun for me then any reviews suggested. I've rented it and played through to the 6th mission, and I plan on renting it again after I finish up with Bad Company. I really enjoy playing it, and the achievements int he game actually made it more fun to play.

Happy 11 years and congrats on citizenship, now you can get arrested for indecent behaviors without the fear of deportation :P
So, I ended up renting Madworld, and I love that game. It makes me feel like Dexter, which I suppose is kind of odd but oh wells. Knowing that its a cover makes me sad now, I was totally jazzed that it was coloured.
That room looks like a cave.... I likes it.
Suggestions:
Cooking, Playing with Animals, Billards, Working Out, Building Houses/Decorating/Going Pee 5043930953 times a day/Catching the kitchen on fire, Dancing, and Leaping across roofs.
Superb!
I give this vlog a Shane rating... makes me come back for more!
As for the comparisons... the only good one i can think of is guitar hero! Rocking out in the virtual world is lots fun!
congrats
Happy anniversary and congrats on the aussie citizenship. Singstar looks like so much fun! i've never thought of getting it before but i think i might try it out.
sorry about the mario & luigi thing I think if I have been playing it too long everyone starts to look like the characters.
As for "real world" game stuff what about skateboarding have you tried that Skate game on the wii balance board? it looks like fun.
Yes, yes I don't like
Yes, yes I don't like Apple. As a hardware nerd it irritates me how much Macs cost compared with PCs and the fact that you can't upgrade stuff as easily. Like I said, I build my own computers and I'm always swapping bits in and out and playing around with stuff and overclocking. And you can't game on a Mac! Though I don't play that many PC games since I got my xbox, there's still the odd game I get for the PC. And Angela is totally my hero for running Windows on her Mac, lol.
Secondly, totally jealous of your gaming/cinema room. We're in the process of having the garage converted (mostly so I can move my tiny recording studio out of the box room and into somewhere that can actually fit all of the boys from my band in) and I'm gonna get a projector in there when it's done :D geek paradise.
Thirdly, my girlfriend is now terrified of you Tracy, because you work in AI and like it. She does AI research but is actually mortally afraid of robots. I kid you not. BSG might as well be a documentary as far as she's concerned.
Fourthly, I cannot believe you talked about RPGs on the DS and didn't mention the awesomeness that is Chrono Trigger!
FINALLY, re: real world type stuff. The music games are gonna be the easiest to do, right? I can provide the real world rocking out if you guys get stuck, though you do have that awesome Rock Band drum set that would probably work just as well in the real world. Otherwise you're either going to have to create and spread a zombie infection (fighting swine flu victims? ...too soon?) or invent portal technology and set up an assault course in your back yard!
Why do I always leave epic comments? :(
Happy anniversary!
Great vlog ladies! I totally loved seeing Tracy rock out to Pink...makes me want to get a PS3 just so I can play Singstar too; however, I don't think I'll be able to justify a $300-$400 purchase to my girl just so I can make her ears bleed..hehe.
I played this arcade-type paintball game once (graphics were really sucky and it was stupid), you could always do that in the real world. I hear those little pellet things hurt when they hit you and leave some pretty good sized welts though. Or, a real world version of Crazy Taxi, you could "borrow" a taxi and drive people around at top speed...fun!
However, if you're not looking to commit a felony, some less adventurous ideas are: tetherball, soccer, remote control car racing, and boxing
Have a great week everyone!
has anyone had a go of Xi?
Apparently its some sort of online puzzle type thing, I got an email about it the other day but I can't check it out because I keep my PS3 at my parents and I'm in uni at the mo (I'd never get any work done if it were here). So I was just wondering if anyone has had a go and knows what its like.
Happy Anniversary. Great review. I think I shall have to invest in the PS3 singstar, I have a few discs for PS2 but maybe voice activation and Pink - So What is reason enough to get it on PS3.
I do have a question to anyone thats played the new Silent Hill. Is it more like the older games or like more like Silent Hill: the room. I was really disappointed with the room and its lack of good puzzles. The 1st game, despite its dodgey controls, was by far the best imo.
"My life's like a romantic comedy that's never romantic! Or comedic! My life is nothing like a romantic comedy!" - Caitlin (Cashmere Mafia)
Funny you should mention
Funny you should mention Mario Cart as a way of enticing a girl into gaming as it was what I played on the first time I went to my girlfriend's house! Also was laughing about the silent hill comments, because I used to be terrified of zombie games when I was a kid and actually drew a picture of a cat to stick over a zombie in a ps1 magazine...sad...
Wireless mics on singstar! Why didn't they think of that when I owned it :( I think me and my brother broke about four of them by destroying the connection at the base of the mic! I used to find it funny when people made me laugh on singstar (the clip reminded me of this) and parts of the laugh would be in tune :P. I ended up selling all the singstar stuff though because I was fed up of the obscure playlists...
*sigh* I think I've been forever tainted by GTA because as soon as I hear of another ganster game I immediately thing 'gta clone' and can't take it seriously, I suspect that's why it got medium ratings too because everyone tends to compare now...
Real World stuff? How about some parkour-style mirror's edge stuff (just not off large buildings...not without a parachute anyway)...or a fighting tournament? (on my mind because my brother keeps showing me tekken 6 trailers)
Lastly Happy Anniversary :) 11 years is awesome!
The closer you get to the light, the greater your shadow becomes, but don't be afraid...
Wow 11 Years
I cant even imagine someone putting up with me for that long. Congratulations.
Wish I could support MAC but like Han m said they just arent as 'easy' to deal with.
Also I got one of my old girlfriends into gaming with Rollercoaster Tycoon 2. She just loved designing parks and she was addicted before she knew it!! he he he
I guess Ill write you on your site but Id like to hear comparisons between games. Like how does Godfather II compare to Godfather I? I have alot of 'old' games and I need to know they have improved or I will just stay away from the new versions.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY
Wow 11 years, i hope me and my girlfriend are as happy after 11 years as you are and congrats on becoming an Australian Citizen.
Im gonna get the wireless microphones because the wires drive me insane and woooo singstar now has trophies lol.
I loved Godfather so much but ive finished it now and unfortunatly thats it, you cant do much else after you become 'THE DON', but i still thought it was wicked although it was way too easy and the gunfights are so boring but hey.
What Iphone games you been playing? i downloaded the 'supermarket mania' you recommended and i was so addicted but ive finsihed that now.
Godfather
Hi, congrats on 11 years! (:
I'm playing The Godfather: The Don's Edition on PS3 right now; i'm nearly the Don of New York City. I love it.
Strangling gangsters is a lot more fun than it ought to be.
I have The Godfather II on my rent list though!
Real things... you could try and explore an old tomb, Lara Croft style aha.

Undecennial (Occurring or observed every eleventh year; belonging to, or continuing, a period of eleven years)! That’s an anniversary of steel, literally!
Congratulations!bribingreeling her in to no avail! For Valentines I slipped Guitar Hero WT & 3 between the other presents so she wouldn’t notice it too much but perhaps give it a go… She loves board games so a few weeks back I got her Articulate (great board game) and at the same time PS3’s Buzz: TV Quiz, again trying to get her to want to turn the PS3 or Wii on. I have acquired Mario Kart, Wario Ware: Smooth Moves, Zack & Wiki, Samba De Amigo all in the vain attempt of a little participation! N.O.T.H.I.N.G! I’m at my wits end without anymore tricks up my sleeve! I think our only hope is a peace treaty and arrange a settlement! It’s the only thing holding me back from being a proud Xbox 360 owner!
Do you have any wish lists and hot predictions for the upcoming E3?So, so what, I'm still a rock star
Damn, you beat me and my girl to 11 years by a mere 2 months! 1998 was quite THE year...Congrats to you both!
Loved the live action singing to P!nk, but loved the cinema room more! Wow, kudos to ya'll for that. What was the first tv show/movie you put on when it was all set up? That would be interesting to know.
I haven't Godfather-ed, but it looks cool. I am currently trying to make the decision to buy Bionic Commando now or wait for inFamous in June. Hope you review one or both to make my choice easier.
thanks for the feedback on
