I started playing Dead Space last night actually, only got through the first chapter so far but I'm liking it and I'll probably play more later. 

Dany and Kendra have pretty much lost their lives to Mass Effect, by all accounts.  But I'll let them tell you about that :D They also have pretty good "I was harrassed on xbox live by gross men" stories as well, where as I don't, but then my avatar does look a bit like a dude so that probably puts them off.

I had no idea there was a nerf game.  That's awesome and makes me feel like I'm 8 years old again.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that you don't have any other hardware failure this week.  Isn't there a saying that bad things come in threes?  So you were ill (1), the elite red ringed (2) and your imac died (3) so you should be safe now!  *touches wood*

i was all happy when i saw a new episode was up ... and now i get nothing but error messages and no gay girls goodness. it makes my heart sad. apparently the afterellen player hates me today because it seems to work for everyone else... its because im canadian isnt it.. i knew it .. conspiracy i say LOL  .. ah well im sure it was a magnificant episode .. ill just keep my fingers crossed that it decides to work at some point lol

I was able to watch it this morning around 9am PST.  Then I logged into AE from this page to make a comment, and when the page refreshed, the parse error message was displayed where the video had been but moments before. Oh Noes! Did I kill the video stars?

  

I finally found a copy of Beyond Good and Evil, i'd been looking for it since you recomended it to me, everytime i went into EBgames and asked about it, the guys in there told me how great a game it is.

I love it.

 

I'm thinking of getting an xbox, but i'm not so sure, i may have to give it some more thought before i do.

I just finished playing my second XBL session of L4D and I have to say that I am really enjoying it. :D

I will be picking up RE5 because honestly at this point I can't really imagine NOT having it. 

First off, excellent vlog as always, ladies.  I'm impressed you jury-rigged a way to tape the vlog- you might have had a lesbian mutiny on your hands if you went two weeks in a row without one! I always cringe when i hear about the Red Ring of Death, because I fear that someday it will happen to me.  

Yes, I have discovered the joy that is Mass Effect (I blame Han M for getting me addicted), and have played through it twice already. Do I sleep? Answer: NO.   And I also just got Call of Duty: World at War but am afraid to start another game I might become addicted to.

I don't think I'll be buying Resident Evil 5- I hate the controls with a passion of a thousand fires. I played the preview and the controls sucked as much as I remember.  Who thought it was a good idea for you not to be able to run and shoot at the same time? That's ridiculous!  If zombies were ever coming after me I would be running- not stopping, turning, stopping, then shooting. I hope the creators of Resident Evil never get caught in a zombie apocalypse.  

I'm glad you like my suggestion- and I don't think anyone would complain if we all got an award!

And I think a good, secure place for us to exchange both xbox and PS gamertags would be good- my excel spreadsheet is getting quite long!

Thx ladies.  I always look forward to Tuesdays.  Think my Xbox is about to go out too.  Started getting pink and black checkered board pattern when I load a disk.  I'm thinking the disk player is about to die.  i've only had it about 18 months and it has not been played much or ever moved around.  I think Microsoft has just put a cheap product out on the market and is now getting bitten on the bum for not caring for thier consumers.

Anyway, you asked about gamertag list.  All the people on my list are nice people and mostly lezzies.  However, I hardly play with most of them because of diffferent tastes in games and different time zones.  Also, a public list would be ABUSED by immature creeps who want to harrass a lezzie. 

As far as Xbox Live.  I have had fun on it and meet some great people.  But Microsoft does discriminate against Lesbians expecially in the forums.  Gamerchix forum can kiss my ass !!!  It is run by uptight (probably all straight) women who patrol the forum locking and deleting any thread that hint at gay behavior.  Only 1 Lez thread is allowed at anyone time.  Mostly, you are allowed to say you are gay, but heaven forbid you talk about being gay.  On the other hand, it seem ok for anyone to post threads about how "Your Boyfriend Cheats on You" or "Pregnancy Scares and Abortions".  Personally, I see Microsoft policy and the forum policys are simular to the real word.  IT IS OK TO BE GAY... JUST DONT TALK ABOUT IT.  I think Microsoft would love it if we were willing to SHUT UP AND STAY IN THE CLOSET.

 I'm new to this thread and must say I’m a bit disappointed with the tunnel vision... not one Wii game was featured in the 'Oscars’ episode (or any other I have seen). I totally understand that the Wii is not for hardcore gamers but it is surly worth a mention seeing it has brought gaming to a whole new group of people. No to mention the biggest selling console of ALL TIME!

Now, I’m sure you’re thinking ‘Great a whining Wii'er’ and yes I do own a Wii (for Zelda) but also have a PS3 as I enjoy serious gaming…  I also felt your categories were peas in a pod. You had the same games time and again. Sure outstanding games deserve the attention. However with such an avid sports (football) fan and no ‘Sport’ category even came close to being considered I feel that tunnel vision getting worse. It felt more like I was watching the OSC then OSCARS!Also lacking:-ACTION & ADVENTURE, ARTISTIC ACHIEVEMENT, CASUAL GAMEPLAY, STORY & CHARACTER, SPORTS, FIGHTING, SHOOTER I don’t want to be coming across too harsh or rude but I am a HUGE gaming fan and spend far too much of my time with bloodshot eyes from late nights, forgetting to blink because I’m having too much fun blowing people’s heads off in COD. Or exploring artistically amazing worlds… I have been looking for a lesbian gaming community for sometime that is not only passionate about gay representation in games but also games across all the consoles. To include the initiative gameplay that the Wii brought to the world but also the stunning graphics that the Xbox, PC and PS3 bring to the table.Like I said I am glad to have found you but hope to be shown how diverse Gay Girls Who Game really is. Snowbunny
