Gay Girls Who Game: "Tomb Raider Underworld"

I tried the Left 4 Dead demo again... and had much more fun this time.  I think it's been long enough since the release that only more serious players are left.  I went into shock the first time a teammate helped me up, that didn't happen the first time.  I'm planning on purchasing the game as soon as i can. 

I'm also rather positive that i will be getting Dead Space for Xmas... so yay on that!  I also just got Devil May Cry 4 - I'd played it a little and rather enjoyed it, and found it on sale for 13$, so decided to give it more time.  I still need to give Mirror's Edge another try, it's been on the back burner for quite a while, i'm at a spot i can't seem to pass.  I would also like to hear what you guys thought of the game.

I haven't commented in awhile but don't worry, that doesn't mean I'm not still watching.  I liked your review of Animal Crossing for the Wii and I'm happy that your love of the DS version didn't cloud your judgement for the review.  I have the Wii and I must say, I've been extremely disappointed with the quality of titles that have been released for it for a few months now.  I love the games that I do have, but at this point there's really nothing else out now, or coming out in the near future that I want to play.  Very sad at my Nintendo.  Is there anything coming out for the Wii that you're looking forward to.

I must agree that you two should get something from Microsoft.  I'm also getting an XBox 360 for Christmas (can't wait) and I think that when I asked a couple of episodes back which console you think is better, your answers added to my reason for getting the 360 over the PS3.  That and the lack of good Wii games means I need the 360.

I was going to ask about the new expansion for Warcraft but it looks like someone else already beat me to it.  Oh well.  It is a great game and it's also a complete time suck. 

Anyway, another great show and I always looking forward to Tuesdays.

Anyway I just got my copy of Gears of War 2 last week and popped it in.  I don't usually like shooter games so Iwas  surprisingly decent on the solo campaign and was feeling pretty good until I decided to do co-op.  Yeah I suck big time! I was having fun even though the other players were talking about my lack of skills over the mic.  Didn't have a mic to tell them it was my first time doing co-op on that game and like my fourth time ever doing co-op.  But I shall play on and a bunch of people at work are going to help me out with co-op exp. 

Can't wait for the RB2 review...

First off.... Hello ladies.

Talk about no sleep before the xbox....there's certainly hasn't been much since I got it. I finished Fable once as a good girl and now I'm replaying it evil which seems to be the general plan for everyone who has a copy. The oddest thing was that on night three of Fable bashing I dreamnt I was in the game (except it was 2004...and I took P!nk as my wife)! totally odd.

I've since stepped away from Fable and started on Tomb raider which I'm enjoying the more I play it. It was a bit finikity at the beginning but it's growing on me. Dying to get Gears of war and left for dead, but figure after blowing so much on the xbox I should wait for Santa to visit.

Back to Lara though.....Keeley Hawes is yummy and could read me a bedtime story anytime!! Your both spot on about the graphics. Some of those settings are just wonderful but the odd glitch does detract from the overall result. Still this is Lara and I'll take it anyway it comes!

If the urge takes you, you could add me on xbox as I know all of 3 people so far. I'm signed up as original80  :)  look forward to the next show.

I just wanted to tell you about my wonderful girlfriend. Even though she doesn't earn very much money she saved up and bought me an Xbox360 on Saturday for my birthday/ christmas/ graduation. She didn't even buy the core system she bought the premium! It was a wonderful suprise and one of the best birthday presents ever.

And what was the first the first game I bought, I hear you cyr? It was Fable 2, I can't wait to play it cause I loved Fable. I haven't played it yet because I'm afriad if I do I will not get my thesis done in time, so I've left it with her 300 miles away in Cheshire. But as aoon as I've handed in my thesis I'll be rushing back to play my Xbox, oh and see my girlfriend of course.

I'll add you guys on xbox live tomorrow.  I've been playing Left 4 Dead with Dany and having great fun.  We'll definitely have to have a massive game over Christmas.  Not quite sure how we'd work round all the time differences but I'm not above staying up all night for a gaming marathon!

I think I might be getting Gears2 for Christmas (cuz I've been a good girl, obv) but I still haven't finished the first one yet (I got it a month or so ago for £5 :D) so I need to do that first.  

Have you guys ever playing Lost Odyssey?  It's my birthday next week and my girlfriend just gave me some money and pointed me in the direction of Gamestation and told me to get a game I got so I got that.  My friend had it and said it was awesome, thoughts?

Hrm, a bit disappointed that Tomb Raider Underworld is glitchy but I guess that's part and parcel with all TR games.  I'm still putting it in my list though as I have followed the series from the start.  Lara's sexy, confident, mysterious and adventurous.  Who wouldn't want to be [with] her?

Definitely looking forward to the review on Mirror's Edge and Skate It in the next vlog! :D

What's the best system to play TR: Underworld on? I have...all of them... Is any version native 1080p?

Im so sad that Animal Crossing is crap lol, ive got it for xmas so i cant play it yet but obv im not happy its the same as wild world, how can they do that to us animal crossing addicts? im not gonna sit and put that how ever many million hours i put on the ds into the wii.

Anyway still playing tomb raider and ive been playing Prince of Persia which is just crap. I love the other Prince of Persias and this just isnt the same, the whole sidekick thing is ok but you can NEVER die (not that thats a bad thing i guess) anytime you fall of the edge etc the girl flys down and rescues you, i found the game was very repetative and it all looks the same.

I got the Midi cable and did everything that i should have and what a suprise it still doesnt work, i still got a problem with the red pad no matter how unsensitive i make it everytime i hit the red with a little force it activates the red and yellow, ive pretty much given up with guitar hero world tour now if i play it i either sing or play the guitar, why didnt they just make the drums like rock band coz they were amazing.

Another entertaining vlog, ladies.  Keep up the fine work. I will have to check out Tomb Raider and Mirror's Edge, since people can't seem to stop talking about it.

I am very excited about the Rock Band 2 review. I have been playing that pretty much every night since Thanksgiving- and have spent most of my points on downloading new songs.  It's like an addiction. I wonder if there is a Rock Band 12 step program?

Of COURSE I am still playing Left 4 Dead- Han M and Tristen have been fun to play with, but I still want to find more people so we can do the 8 player version.  I am glad to take responsibility for all things zombie, threesome, and foursomes.  Now that's a rep I don't mind having on xbox live!  I will also point out that my dog now frequently goes out when I play games... no dog neglect here!

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who forked out the uber dosh for the Tomb Raider Underworld Ultimate! Fan! Pack! The pack was pretty cool, actually. The only thing that sucked in it was the obligatory truckers cap. I mean, seriously. Excuse me Eidos...the 80s called - they'd like their truckers cap back.

Far Cry 2 is the penultimate Tracy Gamer game.  Its set in Africa and you play a mercenary who can roam around either taking on missions or just randomly killing people and blowing things up.  You can (and, believe me I have) play this game for hours upon hours. You can choose to walk, run, drive, swim, or even paraglide. There is a good range of weapons, cars, boats, and characters. Graphics are sweet with full weather and day/night cycles. Far Cry 2 is a slower paced, choose your own violence title that gets a Tasha L Word rating (a little quieter than the rest, but can kick major ass when required) from this digital angel.

I’m surprised that you haven’t got (or reviewed) Shaun White Snowboarding on the Wii. You can use this game with the Wii Balance Board and with your obvious mad snowboarding skills that you showed in your holiday videos, I’d have thought that this would be right up your ally. Or half pipe. Or something.

I know that your season finale is near. Do you know when GGWG will return? Will you return with a ‘Santa bought me these games for Christmas and this is what we think?’ edition of your Vlog?

Hello Tracy and Angela!

Thanks for your take on Da Bomb Lara Croft. I first played Tomb Raider I in 1998 (first computer, sticked to this system...) and I'm a fan ever since. Cool moves, good story, unrealistic boobs, what's not to love.
Tomb Raider II is my favourite part of the series, thanks to the introduction of vehicles. BTW, after all these years I'm still traumatised by those underwater levels :)
To continue with not so fond memories: I barely made it through TR III and never finished TR IV. Don't get me started on TR V.
Two years ago, I got back on track with TR AoD, which was full of bugs, but lots of fun again. I'm stuck at TR Legends, much to my dismay. And Lara's Anniversary, well, it's gonna be belated.
Hmm, I'm afraid, I won't be able to play TR Underground on any of my current machines, so this has to wait as well :(

Anywho, I never miss a chance to go and on and on about the one and only raider of the lost artifact........... But, that's it! Oh, oh, one more, this is my fav site dedicated to the phenomenom: tombraidergirl.com.

I was looking over some Xbox Live info today while downloading more game demos and came across this.  Xbox has a group called GamerChix that is ALL women.  This group has Gaming Nights (Mondays I think).  The next one is Monday Dec 22 when they play Fable 2.  You have to sign up as a member of the group to play.  They have over 7000 female members in 32 countries.  Here is a link .... http://www.xbox.com/en-US/community/gamerchix/  

Maybe they will play Left 4 Dead soon.

Finished it like 5 days ago and it was awesome! Definitely my favourite from the bunch. The graphics were amazing and I was practically drooling at Lara for the entire game XD. I totally noticed all the new things as well. One of my favourite games that I've played this year so its awesome that you guys enjoyed it too!

Thank you so much for reviewing the new Animal Crossing game. I was going to request it for Christmas but if its the same as Wild World then I won't even bother. I'm really disappointed that its so similar cause its such a shame cause I loved the DS version. Your right though I haven't found any Wii games that look remotely good. I guess I will just have to stick to Super Smash Bros and Mario Kart until something arrives.
