Gay Girls Who Game: "Fable 2"

Ah, Fable II.  I need to do another playthrough as an evil character soon, now that I'm (for the moment) done with Fallout 3.  And I want to try and get a few more achievements (you know, other than just the filthy ones that I have now from having threesomes with hookers.)  Which would be how I got my 10 STDs, naturally.  My character was a total slut.  I made a ridiculous list of stupid stuff my character did and most of my friends were scandalised :-)

I still think I'm going to rent Dead Space because I'm not sure if I'll like it.  Next on the list for me is LittleBigPlanet though, then Mirror's Edge.

i sould my playstation 2 for buy a XBOX 360 too, here in latinamerica XBOX it´s not so popular as playstations but, it´s important because the best games now are for the new generation of consoles, so i need it to take my hobbie to the next level.

i have a question: when it going to start selling guitar hero ? and rock band 2?

and what console its better, xbox or wii?

I love my Xbox 360, and haven't played around on xbox live yet, but I plan on buying the subscription this weekend.

Tracy- I swear, i don't know how that picture showed up, it was very myserious. I also laughed that you cut off your political rant, it probably sounded much how I was when all the votes were tallied.  

Angela- I actually love that you guys don't rehearse, it just makes the Vlog much more entertaining. And I am also sad at the cold shoulder you are getting from some of the gaming companies- I think we are a HUGE untapped market!

I LOVE Fable 2. I love it so much that I lose whole chunks of time.  Last Friday I came home from work and started playing at 6pm, and the next thing I knew it was 3am and the dog was whining to go out to the bathroom. And i didn't want to quit! I love how flawlessly you can change weapons mid-fight, going from  the mele to the ranged weapon to will power.  I haven't finished the game yet because I am too busy with all the side things. I currently have 3 wives in 3 different towns (no STDs yet), yet somehow I am still pure and good.  I guess bigamy isn't considered evil in Fable! I plan on finishing my current game and then playing again as evil. But I also love the character customization, in that even though I play a woman hero, I can dress her and customize her in a more butch way. She can even have a beard (not that it looks good!) Ok, I am now done with my rant on my love of all things Fable 2. :)

Loved this game. Got it as soon as it came out and played it compulsively with the lights out and candles lit, through wind and rain. Such a fun experience. I'm thinking of playing Fallout 3 next, but it's kind of hard to want to dive into such a bleak landscape when this one was so lush and beautiful. 

I just finished the main story of fable 2 a couple of days ago and yeah its awesome.  I had a wife and a husband, and the only reason I had the husband was because his accent made me giggle.  I somehow managed to avoid any STDs though, even though my character slept with hookers, and had group sex with a load of villagers (I really wanted the achievment! lol).  I ended up having a little girl with my husband, and when I went to visit her she said, "Why does our society reinforce stereotypical gender roles?  ...Nevermind I'll just play with my dolls."  I actually choked I was laughing that much.

I'm kind of tempted to get Fifa 09.  I have '08 but I'm spectacularly bad at it.  I got it to play with my dad really.  Part of the temptation to get '09 is purely because my local team is in the premier league this year and god knows if we'll still be there next year, lol.  At least I would have in-game proof that Stoke were in the premier league once!

I am back in T.O and to celebrate my luggageless return, I played Fable 2 for a long long marathon session.  After I received my luggage the next afternoon, I decided to go from Pure/Good to Pure/Evil on the way to Corrupt/Evil.  It's fun!  I especially like taking villagers to the Temple of Shadows for the spin the wheel game.  I'm sure the villagers enjoy it as well. The spinning wheel, the flashing lights, exciting and fun. So far, I've had two spouses (who left me :() a child, and no stds.  I'm working on it though. 

And then I'll play it all again.  In a totally different manner.

Just so that you can find me in the phone book, I'm going to get a landline and register it for either T. Pants or Thunder P.  Or start a business called Thunderpants that's involved in exporting Tender Moment collectibles to Mongolia or France.

Haha. I’m actually doing extra chores and work around the house so that I can save up for an xbox360, JUST so I can play Fable 2. When I heard about fable 2 I practically died of excitement. I was in love with Fable 1, and to this day randomly quote things from it.

I DID end up getting Star Wars: Force Unleashed on the Wii!  I managed to complete it under 7 hours as well without rushing.  Mind you, I didn't search every nook and cranny but I am the second time around ;)  I do like this game but is quite tiring after awhile.

I do have a question regarding Rock Band (AU version) on the Wii.  Do they have a bundled version (i.e. Drums, Guitar and Mic)?  As I had only seen the drums and guitar being individually sold.

Fable 2 looks good.  I might get that next :) 

On a side note, I do like the voice over the trailers but your voices sounded a bit soft.  Are you ladies able to up the volume a bit, please?

I have a new question.  This might be a bit naive of me, but here was what I was wondering.  Since you were talking about Fable 2 and the sex you can have and the STD's you can get ... I was wondering if they are going to merge video games and porn together ?  Now, they might have already done this, I don't know.  But I was wondering if it is happening or might be going to happen.  It concerns me because of the anti-women things already in porn (not that I spend alot of time watching it).  But I could see them making games where men can live out thier sexual fantasies doing terrible things to women and children, and it being perfectly legal because it is a "game".  I am interested in getting your thoughts on this.

Been watching this vlog since it started, and now it felt like the time to say Thank You! Thank you for doing this vlog, I really enjoy it.

Been living on the other side of the globe for almost a year now and only have my portables with me, so really really looking forward to going home next year back to all my games, having fun watching your show and writing down what games im getting when back home ;)

I am glad you think Dead Space is a good game, I will check it out over winter break or something. Lets hope that Left 4 Dead isn't also good or else I will not have enough time...

I am looking forward to your review on Fallout 3, as I want to know what you thought about it. I have spent (too) many hours and I am about halfway done with everything. I really like the immersion and the experience of traveling the wasteland and scrounging up ammunition and things to sell. I think that all of the characters are well made and the funny information they put in terminals are a nice touch. I just wish there were more opportunities to engage in playful dialogue especially with the Black Widow perk.

Anways.. all this talk has made me hungry for more. 'till next week :)

I've experience the Be A Pro feature first hand through a more Canadian method... NHL '09, and I loved it! At first, the whole watching the game from the bench during shift changes was off putting but once I got used to it, I loved the way you could develop your one player to become *ahem* top scorerer in the NHL *ahem*. It gives sports games another purpose than just single game challenges against a friend or the computer.

As for fable.. I feel somewhat embrassed admitting this now, but I had never heard of it before. The trailer scenes seemed really random, so it was hard to get a feel of what you actually do in the game, but if you can be a lesbian (albeit a disease ridden one) it's worth a rental for me!

I too have been a FIFA fan as long for as I can remember.  Last year I was super disappointed because I had only the wii ... and oh my gosh, FIFA was terrible.  I never really understood what I was supposed to do exactly - I just kinda pointed the controller at the screen and pressed the buttons wildly.  Needless to say, I never won.  I am delighted to have this year's spectacular FIFA on the PS3! does this make me a Tracy gamer??

Anyway my last 2 weeks have been taken over by littlebigplanet im obsessed, i love it i think its fantastic graphic wise its great, the sound is fantastic and the gameplay rocks, i think ive nearly finished the storyline mode, which is just in time coz i get guitar hero world tour today yay.

Fifa 09 rocks, im a fifa girl and although it does look the same as fifa 08 all the added elements make it a much better game.

Other than Guitar hero there are loads of other games that come out today and im swamped its terrible we got..... mirrors edge, wii music, raving rabbits tv and finishing off littlebigplanet, thank god i got the weekend off lol.

alright.. i just had to come and comment on this blog because i so dearly love the original Fable.. such a fantastic game.. endless hours of entertainment just from taunting people. love the graphics for the new version.. and although contracting venereal diseases isn't on the top of my list of things to do... this game does look simply amazing  and im jealous lol. perhaps its best though that i do have a 360 .. or i fear id do nothing but play fable and fail all my courses lol

also.. as far as original xbox games go.. Dreamfall: The longest journey!!.. i personally really liked this game and would recommend it... its got a hot female lead character.. what more could you ask for lol  : D

p.s. Angela and Tracy .. you should totally come to Toronto.. and steal a rainbow street sign to go along with your little rainbow flag lol

I'm really glad you're reviewing more RPGs, Fable 2 just might be the reason I jump to the dark side and buy an Xbox360, I'm usually not a Microsoft fan and consider myself a Sony girl, but that game just sounds too good...I..might...not......resist.....

Anyway, will you be reviewing Valkyria Chronicles sometime? How about more PS3 games? I noticed you seem to be really pro-xbox360, but I still have faith in good-old Sony, am I being naive? :( 

Fable 2... I cant put it down, theres so much that can be done in this game that I dont think I'll be able to put it down untill I get every achivment.

My copy of Mirrors Edge is still in the wrap and Fallout 3 just sits there glaring at me hatefully.

Although these will just occupy me untill Final Fantasy 13 comes out and since its going to be availble for the 360, I wont have to invest in a PS3...woot!!!
