This week on a very special episode of From the Cheap Seats, Becca and Michelle are joined by Alex Chambers, who is traveling around the country to attend a home game of every team in the WNBA. The vloggers caught up with Alex on his Seattle stop and grilled him the differences he sees in the players, teams, and fans in each city. The WNBA found out about Alex's venture and have supported him with media passes to interview players, so he is also able to share some tidbits from the locker room.

    I knew I shouldn't have said we were having a special guest. I guess jinxed it. We're now 0 and 4 with our "special guest" episodes. We'll try to fix it but it might take till Monday.

    What's wrong with saying you have a special guest. I guess I haven't followed this enough to know.

    ha! yeah, i wrote that this morning when the wrong episode got posted.  we've tried to have special guests before and every time we have some technical issue and the episode doesn't get posted, so i thought the curse had struck again. but it got fixed!  Quickly!

    It's really cool that you able to get Alex to do the vlog with you.  I read about his journey on the Mercury team site and thought that it was the coolest idea ever.  It definitely helps bring attention to the WNBA to have someone undertaking a task like this, especially since it is a guy.  Just gotta wish Alex good luck with the rest of the trip!

    I think the wnba has the same amount of popularity as soccer. It might be a real struggle for it to reach popularity at anytime.
