Okay kiddos, here's what went down. Pre-game between Storm and Monarchs, the Storm won 64-55. It was pretty close until we (Storm) pulled away after the half and then the Monarchs couldn't get it back. Of all the players I think Ashley Robinson impressed me the most, she was on fire at the end. Of course, to balance out the good news of the win, the Storm made their first cuts: Kim Beck and Mara Freshour. They still have to make 4 more cuts to get down to 11.
On the Monarchs side of things, Courtney Paris played 16 minutes and scored 2 points and 5 rebound. Powell was the only big scorer with 15 points, everyone else had less than 10. As always, Penicheiro was looking gorgeous - and she made an amazing 3-pointer as well.

Thanks Becca for link to the Ben York article. Made some awsome points. Only wish more people felt this way about the game.
GO STORM!!
Thanks for the links
I really can't wait for the season to start so I can start watching the games. That Atlanta dream dunk was amazing, I wonder if they will actually do it during a game. I do like how the WNBA teams are posting more videos, it's nice to hear from the players. Twitter is awesome.
