Ok.  I apologize.  Back on topic.  L Word Series Finale.  I agree with y'all.  IT WAS TOO AWFUL to describe!  But I'll try anyway.

* Alice had some really hilarious moments in this episode!  That scene in the Planet -"Thank you ... and f*ck YOU!."  brilliant. laughed my butt off.  And Love?  Love, Jamie?  Tasha was sittin' there lookin' like "Wha? For Wha, WE DON'T LUV DEM HOEZ!!" 

* Alice on the phone with Shane "oOo You lik-it-win-I-touch-u-lik-Dat? Cuz-I-lik-it-win-u-touch-me-lik-dat."   Loved it.  It was a flashback to Season 1 Alice.

*  Dylan & the Knife. lame.  Matter fact!  EVERYTHING having to do with Dylan and Helena was lame. 

*  Shane & Molly.  Why the heck was she actin' like she couldn't open her freakin' mouth and tell the girl she never got the dumb note?!!!  waste.

*  Carmen.  I was so sad.  10 seconds of Carmen.  thas it.  So cruel. 

*  The ending.  Wow.  I get that this was suppose to be a final shot of the whole crew ... but it was STRANGE AS HELL?!!!  WHY ARE WE ON A LESBIAN CAT WALK GOIN' INTO THE POLICE STATION MAKIN' SEDUCTIVE FACES AT EACH OTHER?!!    Six seasons of ordering Showtime for this.  Wow.  (Please believe that I canceled it as SOON as the finale went off, by the way. lol)   

OH!  Y'all triggered a memory with the Angie/Brush and Water conversation.  omg.  My Mom wore that method OUT on my head back in the day.  Then!  As I got older!  I started stylin' my own hair & took a few of her tips -  Y'all remember this method?!

Yep, you guys saw the same thing I did.  lol    You pretty much summed up what we all were thinking.  Thanks I loved watching your video more than the episode. 

i agree that this last episode was horrific. i've been turned off by the storylines on the l-word for a while now and i believe if it wasn't about lesbians, and if it wasn't for tasha and shane, i would have stopped watching a long time ago. the ending was absurd and i believe they used this last season as a launching pad for ilene's new show, instead of giving the l word a proper ending. i mean the show, by itself should be able to stand alone and have an appropriate end b/c what if ilene never gets to do "the farm" or an l word movie? that means we never find out what happened to jenny and that all these stories are never wrapped up.

and i was SO disappointed over that teeny tiny blip of a scene with carmen. i've always been hoping for some closure where carmen and shane were concerned and they give us closure between shane and boring ass mom-hair molly instead? it was SUCH a gyp.

as for tasha and alice, i think they could have a least showed us exactly what happened between tasha and jamie instead of springing tasha on everybody in the last 5 f**king minutes of the episode with no explanation of what transpired. that was just bad storytelling. 

i think bette and tina should have adopted max's baby but that's just me. and i wish shane would've broken up with jenny's crazy ass earlier so we didn't have to be subjected to the  shenny hot mess all season long. and i agree with aksala, the catwalk into A DAMN POLICE STATION WHEN YOU'RE BEING QUESTIONED ABOUT A MURDER, is just extremely absurd, and again bad storytelling.

all in all, if this is how the series ended i believe it was a complete waste of my life. all those l word parties i went to and discussions i had with friends were a complete waste. it's like ilene had no respect for her audience. anyway i hope to see you ladies vlogging about something else too. you made the l word somewhat enjoyable with all your funny commentary and observations.

Anyways... i agre with everything you guys said. except you skipped the whole Nikki stevens semi confession.  I mean WTF was that?  and yes Jen i thought the same thing at the end untill jenny popped up.

this is the first video ive seen of yours, and you 2 are hilarious and right on!! you mentioned everything i was thinking throughout that show. max's moustacheHAHAHAHA the cameos, etc, it was all just like a mean ending in general. i'd like to think everyone killed her, just for excitement. oh yeah another thing is you kinda feel bad for jenny. they should have made her extra bitchy for the last episode.

 

i diisagree about molly tho, even tho i looove shane and carmen and they were prob the hottest couple on the show, i did love molly and shane. that was the only wrap-up that i liked, even tho you dont know if they end up back together, thats not like a cruel way to leave things off with them, unlike the rest of the show.

 

the last word of the l word was a word i would have preferred not to have heard.

haha. you know i have been talking about that since angie came on the l word. now jenifer, pam and rose should say something to the stylist about her hair. they know about that stuff.

and i do agree with you guy about the show, what the hall man, the last show and they couldn't do better than that. why the hell would IFC let tina say those things after getting head, that was so out of character for tina because she is alway so into sex with bette that she can't even talk for a couple of minutes. and why would angie call sunset daddy, a little girl her age knows the different between daddy and man, IFC and crew sucks!!!

I enjoyed watching your recaps all season long. 

I hope you'll keep up the vlogging, even if it's just talking about random stuff.

I'm so glad you two brought up the issue with Angie's hair. It's shame that baby had to look like  that in front of whole world. Where was her real mother/or parent?

I knew there was a reason I cancelled showtime.  Ilene totally screwed us.  Im with Jen on this.  I waited all this time just to see my girl carmen and all she gets is five freaking seconds. wtf, are you kidding me.   im seriously boycotting ilene anything.  the entire season sucked big.  I do have to say that bette looked hot as hell during her exit.  chick was mad sexxxy.  other than that the whole episode was a waste of time and a huge disappointment.  thank God they had alice for comic relief.

I wonder if there's some sort of reverse psychology that Ilene has done so that the lesbian community would be so outraged that we would make effort and demands to generate more programs that WE like.

That or the whole series was Jenny's creation all along and the last episode reflected the bad choices happeneing when the movie was taken away from her?

you guys were right on with everything on this episode! what a sad way for them to go out.  from the dylena bs, to the mustache, all the idle talk time waster crap, and um, lack of a murder (what they have been pimping this season to be about)...sigh, what hasn't been said about this episode that hasn't been said already?  i actually liked the idea of a curtain call, if only it didn't look like they were laughing at jenny being murdered! wtf!!! lol.  what bothered me a lot with the l word was the actual lack of showing you how situations progressed, and instead just telling you what happened (i.e. kit being mad at sunset, next episode he's "daddy")  they like to leave out a lot.  it is just lazy lazy writing.  i though the tasha/alice/jamie storyline was the most legit, but then it just ended up super anticlimactic. and  IC must not like stars upstaging the show, like marina and carmen.  gotta be the reason they got such crappy treatment.  ahh..better stop ranting!  great recap dee and jenn!!  you two deserve a nice long, but not too long;) vacation!

 

I was sooo upset about this episode. The lines were horrible and forced....and since when do people die after falling off a second floor balcony INTO A POOL OF WATER!!! ....if that is how she died....i mean give us a little hint about how the child died.... but anyway jenn and dee , you two are soo funny! you had me cracking up and at some point i too had a mental picture of all of the L worders just getting so pissed at jenny that they just gathered up mob form and collectively pushed the child off ...or downed the child....i still can't figure out how u die falling off a second floor balcony into water...i've seen people jump off of roofs into pools... 

Hello everybody!!! It has been a long time since I posted so I just wanted to see how all my fellow fans of the show are doing? I was just wondering if anyone has followed season 2 of the Terminator? The Last episode was something (crazy). I wish jenn and dee could vlogg about that because so much has happen this season. I know they are busy with school and all but hey even if they can't vlogg about that just vlogg about anything. I'm sure they will be going to Dina so we will prob. see them then.
