Come With Me If You Want to Live: "The L Word" Episode 6.7

Ok... I gotta know if anyone else lOST their Mind when "Back to Life" came on!!!  I use to LOVE that song!  Soul II Soul was ALWAYS on heavy rotation at every family get together. 

My favorite dance was the lil' Salt & Pepa performance.  Loved it.  The hair.  The costumes.  Incredible. 

Other than that .... this episode left me with a million and one questions.
Why would Ilene make Alice so miserable at the end of the series? 
Why is Ilene ignoring Max? 
Where is the Tasha/Jamie chemistry? (Cause I don't see it)
Why in the world is Bette dragging her feet about tellin' Tina the situation? 
I have no idea how this is gonna be wrapped up in 2hours but ... I'll be tuned in, like the little lesbian L Word masochist that I am, to give Chakin one more opportunity to let me down. 

Anyway!  On a lighter note!  Dee, listen.  Everybody's gotta house with the wood paneling on the walls ... it's all good.  She's coordinating the wood from the walls ... With the wooden masks!  See it's a theme!!  nah, I'm playin.  Here's a random 90's hit for y'all ...

Well, first...I might be wrong, but my understanding is that the finale of The L Word isn't a two-hour finale. They're doing the hourlong retrospective of the entire series at 8 PM and then the regular episode at 9 PM. So if you couldn't imagine them being able to wrap all this up in two hours, think about what they won't be able to wrap up in one.

Sigh.

A few thoughts on this episode: 

1. I absolutely loved Tasha, Alice and Jamie's Salt N' Pepa routine--it might go down as one of my favorite scenes ever on The L Word. Rose Rollins made that scene and it just looked like so much fun...

2. Jodi lied to Bette about Kelly confirming Jenny's story, didn't she? I mean, when would that have happened? For that to be true, Jenny, Jodi and Kelly would had to have gotten together and discussed the whole issue at some other time (since Kelly wasn't at the dance marathon)--that seems unlikely. 

3. Bette not telling Tina about what Jenny thinks she saw makes it seem so much worse than it really was--especially since Bette seems so gung-ho about moving (is she doing it for Tina or to get away from Jesse Spano?). I can understand not saying anything during the Dance Marathon, but to not have had the conversation while waiting on the bus, I think is inexcusable.  

Loved the vlog, as always...I'm definitely looking forward to your finale recap and whatever comes next (hopefully you'll do vlogs from Dinah like last year).

 Someone needs to really call her (IC) ass out on all the WTF's of this season but nobody seems to want to do it.

what happen to jesse spano? what happen to max? What about the letter to shane? What about the Moonlighting wedding? What happen to the confused carpenter? Is jenny going to show Tina the picture? What does I'm not done with you mean Tanya? Heck at this point I'm just watching to see Carmen .... if the rumors are true. I don't really care who killed Jenny, I think they are all in on it!  Oh and where oh where was all the hot lovin?

the season finale is 2 hours long? I though it was one? They say one hour was a look back at the  l word and the other hour was the season finale.

i hopes its two hours bc i think its impossible to wrap up everything in one hour.
