This week, the ladies of Cherry Bomb welcome Dani Campbell as their special guest in the first of two episodes shot on the Sweet Cruise. Dani squashes some rumors, discusses Tila Tequila’s change of heart and joins in on the Star sign debate this week. Does Astrology really affect your relationships and should you choose your partner based on your star signs?
And in this week’s question, an audience member asks how the new wave of gay and lesbian films has affected a younger generation coming out.

See Astrology as a hobby but I wouldn't swear by it. I like actually to observe and analyze people and see how they tie in with their birth chart. Astrology is an art. And it's so much more complex than just the day you were born lol we each have a sun sign, moon sign, rising sign (which affects predominantly our personality) but then you have a different sign for different aspects of you represented by the posiition of the planets when you were born, some even include certain asteroids actually. Oh and the astrological houses and the MC line. Because of this some signs classically considered incompatible may actually work well together because of the other aspects in the birthchart. Still I do believe we have a certain amount of freelwill and I don't think anyone should turn down someone they like because of their birthchart, common lol! simply it could be an indicator on how to deal with things if they get tough.

Interesting episode ladies, as usual. Haven´t paid that much attention to astrology before, but I found it interesting and I would loved to hear more about it. There were a lot of signs not mentioned so I went of and researched a little more on my own. It appears as if I am a true pisces:)
Nice to see Dani again. She seems like such a nice and genuine person. Where could one find her clothing line? I have been looking for stuff like that.

Taurus here.
I only have a passing interest in astrology. I mostly only know some info about my sign. I fit the stubborn part to a T, but the rest about being creative and artsy...well I couldn't be more opposite of that.

I don't know where you read Tauruses were supposed to be creative and artsy but it sounds as if they didn't know what they were talking about. Most Tauruses couldn't be further from that. Although they can appreciate art, Tauruses are very grounded, down to Earth people. Oh they're hedonists (at least to a degree haha) and normally know how to manage money. They like routine and get a headache if someone tries to redecorate their house or change things from their usual spot lol. Kay I'm exaggerating a bit but I think you get the idea. Oh and food. Tauruses love food, especially good food. And a weak spot for chocolate...

One of my exes is a Taurus and shes very creative also. She is heavily into all forms of art and love to draw/paint. On the other hand she hates routine and is horrible with money. Its amazing that two Taurus's can be some damn opposite.

When someone comes along and asks me to do something during a time I have set aside for something else...I get a bit agitated. Typical Pisces
I'd say I'm much like a pisces in the creative sense but I also feel a strong connection to Aquarius possibly because my birthday is on the 21st and pisces only begins on the 20th.
I don't judge partners or friends on their starsign but I do believe it can tell you a lot. My best friend is a Scorpio and we genuinely click better than any two people I know and we are the only Pisces/Scorpio mix in our circle of friends.
I don't believe the day-to-day stuff but my chart is definitely accurate.

What you say is true haha one of my close friends is Pisces and an other friend of ours is Scorpio and they're inseperable (until she got a boyfriend who is also Pisces). Water signs get along well with each other... I'm an Aquarius and two of my best friends are Gemini and Libra (so all three of us are air) and my lover is a Libra. The last of my best friend is Aries, Fire (Air and Fire mix well).

Great subject and fun...I am not a total astro-junky but I have been keeping up with the stars since I was 15. Now 13 years later I haven't lost interest.Too much truth in it.
I became pretty bummed at 18 when I found out I had a virgo sun with virgo rising..and a capi moon..How earthy and "boring" could I be? It used to really bother me when people would say, "oh no" after I told them I was a virgo. But I am like so not the boring sit around and knit type. I love adventure. So having Mars in Leo helped there.
The more I learned about it.. the less it bothered me..in fact I have libra in like 5 other places in my chart. And a couple leo. sagi and scorpio.(all my planets on one side of the chart- not beuno in vedic charts).
It gets kind of confusing (and interesting) when you try to understand urself and ur interactions with people on the chinese (rooster here), western(virgo) and vedic (leo) levels..but its fo' sure fun.
My weakness is for sagittarius...out going.. fun .. goofy people..

here. Loved the episode by the way. I'm like my sun sign bad traits and all, I had my whole chart done and it's very spot on which at first was creepy. Katrina from Miami Social I believe on bravo did a blog on a certain kind of astrology that helps you find your purpose and said it helped her in her life and career.
I have noticed that I get along well with pisces as long as it stays platonic, if it crosses over from my experience it will not turn out well. For some reason I find myself surrounded by leos which is interesting b/c we don't really click. I do get along well with capricorns though, my bf is one. I have found that my relationships with a taurus are always the same. With cancers we always click and stay that way for some years then drift apart. I know that there is some truth in astrology.

As far as the current topic goes, I'd have to say the general Aquarian personality traits fit me. I love everything in the arts. Fiercely independent. I fight for the underdog. done at Astrologydating.com. Once you kinda go thru the whole signing up bit, they ask you to have your chart created to match you up properly. When I signed up it was free and I think it still, is for the most part.

I have been actively watching cherrybomb for a while now and it is very spot on with what i am going through. there are many interesting conversations on a variety of topics you ladies touch upon. you have a fabulous team of people who share different angles and opinions and so it is good to hear what each of you have to say.
i myself had signed up for a season 3 at shot at love with tila tequila. but i always thought dani was the most compatible of all contestants. i absolutely adore and respect tila, and understand what she needs and i always thought dani was the most suitable (her personality , her sincerity is very much like mine.. but i didn't know she was a virgo also! yay!!) and when tila tweeted about that recently, i knew it. the media loves to distort things and spread false rumours about celebrities and you really shouldn't get too sucked into the whole thing.. tila is a beautiful woman inside and out, and i do love her within the very fabric of my being. she is just severely misunderstood and a passionate person who people either admire or hate. i think she is the epitome of the scorpio. (look what happened to RIHANNA!) you really don't want to mess with scorpios for sure. tila deserves only the best... and i'm here to love and support her.

Ladies, I love Cherry Bomb more and more each week. I look forward to it, so thank you. The topics are always interesting, this one included. Dani is absolutely adorable, such an obviously kind and genuine person. I totally understand why she's remembered while so many other "reality stars" are already forgotten. Tila has been ridiculed by all and sundry, rightly or wrongly, but she did not take that same road. Good on you Dani.
If you couldn't tell, I'm a Scorpio (hmm wonder what gave it away? ;-)) and I am SUCH a Scorpio. Cautious? Check. Passionate? Check. Honest to a fault? Check. Very intuitive? Check. Strong-willed? Check. There are so many times I've said things or thought things or done things, and then I'll go read a profile of Scorpio and my jaw just drops because without realizing it, I was acting in a Scorpionic way.
However, I also know that your sun sign is how you perceive yourself, and your rising sign is how other perceive you. So while I see myself as a Scorpio, the rest of the world sees me as my rising sign, which is Sagittarius aka the charming, innocent, youthful, naive, foot-in-mouth, lucky one of the charts. And I've gotten plenty of feedback over my lifetime to know that's exactly how people perceive me. Hahah if only they knew what lurked just below that surface!!
I highly recommend astrodienst.com for checking out your chart. It takes into account ALL aspects of you and your chart and is the most accurate one I've found. It also allows you to choose if you want your chart to be for yourself with a man or a woman (sorry, can't choose both at this time) for your romantic aspects. Anyway, I've actually quoted portions of my profile on there to people to explain how I am and what I'm like, and after the read that, they get it. Strange, but true.

I don't normally follow my horoscope (much less have had my chart done), nor could I name all of the signs in order. Yet, so many of my friends tend to fall into the sagittarius or aries signs. Pisces often make appearances into my life, and I often wish it were otherwise. All that day-dreaming drives me crazy. I'm a leo.
