That's how I feel too.  I don't have any clear lines, just that if you felt like you had sex, you had sex.  I got in an argument with one of my straight female friends about this.  She was shocked to hear me say that fingering is sex.  I explained that the fingering lesbians do is probably way different from what she has experienced.  Silly straight girls, some of them really don't get lesbian sex.  To each their own though.

ABSOLUTELY LOVED this episode, there wasn't a single bland second in it! (There never is with you lovely ladies but... you get my drift)

As for my definition of sex (this is a topic I've discussed with many friends and we all seem to have different opinions):

Whatever you do with someone else (one or more people) with the goal of attaining/giving an orgasm; (even if that doesn't end up happening) regardless of clothes, location, positions, etc...

Loved this.  And I have to agree "I know it when I've had it".  I used to have more clear cut lines but not anymore.  I've somehow evolved away from that.

Funny that this was the topic of the episode because for some reason every single Friday "What is lesbian sex?"  becomes the topic of choice for the straight girls in my office.  I'm going to let them watch this and maybe just maybe they'll stop asking "What do lesbians do anyway? I just don't get it."  I am so unbelievably tired of attempting to answer that question.

I got into a huge argument with my first girlfriend (who was bisexual) over what was considered to be sex. For me, if it ends in an orgasm it's sex. But for her she said it's only sex if there's male penetration. Fingering or oral don't count.

Oh man, I was so pissed. She was basically telling me that two girls could never have sex. That's not something you say to a lesbian. :/

I don't like the argument, that it's sex if you have an orgasm. Because - what about the people who hardly ever orgasm? Cause there are people who have difficulties with having an orgasm, even when enjoying sex - and just because you don't orgasm, you've never had sex?

I think I've had sex, sorry, and I find the argument rather discriminating.

I got so frustrated while you guys were gone.... I kept checking weekly, fingers crossed, until I couldn't take the disappointment any more. Now I see that I've missed two episodes!!! What the....?

Positive side: I can watch them back to back by which time the world will be back on an even keel again!!! :-)

I love the definition that if you have an orgasm, it's sex. This makes lesbian sex so much better than straight sex. :) I mean a huge percentage of women don't orgasm during penetrative sex. Basically by this definition I've had a lot less sex with guys than I thought I had.
