Bravo renews "Tabatha's Salon Takeover" but makes no mention of "Work Out"

Lesbian hairstylist Tabatha Coffey made a smooth transition from being a contestant on Shear Genius to hosting her own reality TV show on Bravo, Tabatha's Salon Takeover. The show was a hit, and the network has announced its renewal for 2009, along with three other shows, including The Rachel Zoe Project.

Noticeably absent, still, is any word on the return of Work Out. Rumors have swirled since the end of season 3, and we can only imagine what's going on behind-the-scenes, but I have to say that I hope Jackie Warner and her abs will grace my screen again in the near future.

Bravo, I plead my case: Jackie is a profitable business owner, sometimes controversial and always scandalous. She even makes suburban straight women rethink their sexuality. How can this not be gay good enough for TV?

Honestly, I'm not sure Tabatha's Salon Makeover will keep me interested in Bravo, after the loss of Project Runway. The only things keeping my hope alive are Work Out and Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List, and she's not so D-list anymore.

    work out has to come back, it beats all the other new shows that bravo keeps adding to their channel.  and if it doesnt come back im not gonna be able to watch all of the sexy ladies workin out

    Tabatha's Salon Takeover is probably the only Bravo show that I can't get into. They tried too hard to make her into the female Gordon Ramsay (a la Kitchen Nightmares) and it just doesn't really work for me. Lesbian or not, she's just not interesting. And am I the only one who thought she wasn't that great of a stylist on Shear Genius either? Yeah... I said it.

    I'd love to see Work Out come back though. They just showed a Work Out marathon yesterday I think. That's a good sign isn't it? If Rachel Zoe can get another season, then Jackie Warner can get a 4th.

    I plugged "work out season 4" into google and got a match! The show is coming back with 4 new trainers. One is known as the "hot mama".

     Good news, right?

    It's returning mid 2009.

    Where is it? I can't seem to locate any info. Darn Bravo for not making it official yet. I need to know! However, I did find this awesome 2009 Jackie Warner calendar.

    The gorgeous lady that is referred to as 'Hot Mama' in that pic is All My Children's Kendall Slater (Alicia Minshew), Bianca's (Eden Reigel) older sister. Though soaps aren't as popular as they were before and Alicia's character has been in a coma for the better part of a month, it would be interesting to see if this will be her new career move.

    She's got the body type for it though.

    Kendall is in the coma and has limited screen time on the show because the actress who plays her...Alicia Minshew...recently got married and was in need of some serious downtime to plan the wedding, have the honeymoon, and recover from potential burnout.

    Alicia is not going anywhere and will be back on the soap.

    I have no clue as to why her pic is associated with Jackie Warner's Workout.

    I've been wondering exactly why they were keeping Kendall in a coma for so long. AMC without Kendall (Alicia) would be a sad and lonely world. Hell, I'm just waiting for the backlash to Bianca's betrayal.. And secretly hoping that before Rebecca (Greenlee) leaves, there can be some Kenlee lovin'. Wishful thinking, yeah I know.

    Yeah, Kendall is a big old question mark.  Kendall does come back...but under what circumstances she comes back...could factor heavily into if there is any sort of major Kenlee scenes before Greenlee leaves...and exactly how Kendall does or doesn't react to what Bianca did without talking to Kendall first.

    I just read a speculative spoiler today that could change a lot of things when Kendall comes back to her family.

    As much as I enjoyed the first two season's of Work Out the last season was kind of boring to me. There really was not much going on in the third season that was all that interesting. 

    I love the show but was not impressed with the last season. I miss the vibe for the first two seasons. 

    I cannot be the only one that feels this.

    the show would get canceled after I met her this summer. Well I didn't really mean to meet her, she was just sort of at a gay bar I went to and my friend and I had to buy a drink to meet her. We were like hey why the hell not? Now that she might not be famous any more I'm sort of regretting spending $3 on a drink lol. j/k

    I'll probably be in the minority on this, but the last season of Work Out soured me on Jackie Warner so much that I wouldn't mind never seeing her on my TV screen ever again.

    I agree. Her personality always rubbed me the wrong way, but last season she was just heartless and behaved hideously.

    I agree last season wasn't that great...but I can survive all of the bad stuff just to see Jackie grace the screen! She is so damn hot! lol

    Oh and btw, I think her hair looks much better shorter and in a faux hawk...just my opinion...

    I didn't like Jackie much last season, but i still watched. I hope there's another season and I like her better with shorter hair too.

    oh! I love jackie and her drama! I mean, she behaves badly sometimes, & frequently uses poor judgement, but doesn't everyone? well, maybe not in jackie-terms.. but, hey.. what would life be without a little drama? okay, granted, jackie brings a LOT of drama, but it's tv for chr*stsake!

    if I have to watch trashy reality tv, and I do.. at least let there be some hot lesbian drama involved!

    i can't stand jackie warner!! i'm surprised none of her employees have filed for sexual harassment yet. but i will watch the show every time it comes one. but seriuosly, she kind of sucks..

    ... to see Jackie Warner on TV ever again. She's well overstayed her 15 minutes in my eyes. And I hate to see bad behavior rewarded by more attention and $$. Time to stick a fork in her well-toned abs -- she's done. Give some more-deserving lesbians the opportunity for their own show. There's plenty out there.

    That woman was vile last season. Not that she was much better in the first two. I wouldn't be surprised if Bravo did renew her for a fourth season. People love to watch trainwrecks.
