Great motivation!

Thanks so much for this vlog!  It's such a great motivator before I head out to the gym... which I'm totally doing right now!

That climb up La Cienega Hill looked scary.  When I lived in LA I hated DRIVING up it, let alone running or doing squats.

And thanks for the exercise and nutrition tips!  I'm definitely going to incorporate it into my workouts.

You're awesome, Briana!  Keep these amazing vlogs coming!

Sceptical

Can you really live of salads?

Watching all this I can't help but wonder how is one supposed to do all that excercise and only eat vegetables, yet not pass out?

Lots of vegetarians are

Lots of vegetarians are really fit and work out a lot. I used to be one of them! Until I got too lazy and busy with law school to regularly make it to the gym, that is.

Of course, as with any diet (vegetarian or otherwise) you have to make sure you're getting the right amount and the right balance of nutrients.

From my experience vegetarians are usually very conscious of this.

Not the same

There is a difference between being a vegetarian or living on a raw diet.

The way I understand it that means just fruit and vegetables and no bread, pasta or anything else.

There are other things you

There are other things you can eat to fill up when you are raw.  Nuts, oil, lentils and beans can be sprouted and eaten as protein sources, and wheat berries, quinoa and other grains to give you carbohydrates as well as protein.

Honestly, I don't know enough about it to attempt that type of change.  Whenever I try to even go 80% raw I end up really hungry.  And it's harder to feel satisfied on raw food, and when you haven't had cooked food in awhile it tastes soooo good.  So I've found it just easier to get plenty of fruits and veggies into the diet but to eat cooked food.

recipes

ive become a gym rat for the past 6mo and love it...but the drastic changes have slowed recently. although i am happy with my progress, i'm pretty sure food combinations are to blame at this point. any chance you can add a recipe each week with the video?

Amanda?

Did Amanda quit? I noticed she was MIA, but no mention was made of it...she didn't seem like she was gonna get into it...

And Briana, I'm drinking my green juice every morning, raw fruits and veggies only until noon! :) I have felt much better this week!

Questions For Briana Stockton

www.myspace.com/lunakiss7.com

I enjoy your workout ideas. I'm glad you point out the protein facts in your video. Many peope do not understand the whole healthy food realm.

My questions are  how do I count  the number of reps per set?  When I workout I don't know if I have done 3 sets of for example - 25 left and right twists with the ball.  Do I pause at 25 from count one -left,two -right  until I get to 25  as one set ? Or is it 25 left and 25 right  as  one set. I hope you understand my question.

Thank you if you respond back. I hope you do.

I love the diet she has them on too!

I was one of those people who thought you couldn't work out and not eat meat for protein, but now I know.

Three months ago I gave up all meat. Actually, at home I'm entirely vegan, but when I eat out I'm just a vegetarian and I have NEVER FELT BETTER! I also cut out all refined sugar and high fructose corn syrup.

Seriously, I've lost weight and yet I can eat all I want, I have way more energy, I don't get tired in the middle of the day anymore, I have had zero headaches, my skin is clearer, my hair stylist even said my hair was noticeably healthier.

Here's the best part, I thought it was going to be hard and the food was going to suck. But I have never enjoyed eating more and I don't even want to eat meat anymore. Although I do miss cheese . . . .

Great show again

I enjoy this and I'm really rooting for the girls to make it through. It seems so tough and I'm more than impressed that they are taking on this challenge.

I think it's great you're promoting the mostly raw diet. I'm a vegetarian but am trying to go towards vegan at least. I agree that protein is everywhere and not needed to obtain through animal products. It's kind of sad that mainstream America has been brainwashed into thinking they need meat and dairy.

Briana, thanks for the core exercise tips. This is what I like to see (and more diet tips, too). You are doing an awesome job. I wish you were my trainer.

I'm a pescatarian

The only thing I really enjoy raw is sushi. Other than that, I like my food cooked. I don't think I could do a raw food diet. Anyone have a good website for more information for vegetarians? I haven't been energetic lately and I'm wondering if I'm not getting a good balance of nutrients in my diet. Thanks.

Now i wanna work out

Yeah a website would be really fantastic!

God I am learning so much! I also really want to buy a jump rope! I am going to incorporate these abs work outs into my daily ritual... they looked really really easy and quick!

Also the nutrition information both from the vlog and the other comments have been really really helpful! I didn't know that you got protein from Veggies, also b12 neded as a supplement! This may explain why i get so tired!

Once again I say Afterellen.com is the best website in the world!
