Two Great Women in one place... yummy!
First of all... Kate, I grew up in MA and I remember sitting in my room holding the antenna of my radio trying to keep this NH college station in tune just to hear the women's show. It was there that I first heard you... you opened my heart! It was ok to be a lesbian, not only that, but it could be funny! The story when you slept over a childhood friends' house still makes me smile. And of course the bit about what if the word lesbian was a weapon... "President Reagan, I am a lesbian!" Oh, that dates me!! Thank you! You are truely a blessing to me and many others!
Andrea, You lucky woman! It was such a pleasure to meet you in October at CLIP Film Festival. You were a highlight for me and I look forward to seeing you again! Your joy of life is infectious... thank you for spreading it around!!

You go girlfriend!
Kate, I hope you're reading this because ....well...when I heard and saw you at the Womyn's Music Festival in 1985, I rememer rolling in the aisle laughing at your jokes. I met and fell in love with a wonderful woman at that festival too. She said she enjoyed watching me laugh at your jokes...Even tho' we're not together now, we are still close friends.
"SHE-RA" is still very much a part of my persona with rockets coming out of both chee-chees.
Thanks for your ground-breaking, in-your-face humor. And thanks Andrea for the great vid.
