This week on All Access Pass, Andrea Meyerson goes to Washington DC to attend The Mautner Project's BIG LOVE event and speaks with Elizabeth Ziff, Amy Ziff and Alyson Palmer — better known as the band BETTY.

The women talk about how they met and formed BETTY, using their music to benefit important causes, working on The L Word, and the secret of staying together for 23 years. The band also shares stories about Elizabeth's battle with breast cancer over the past year.

    I was going to stay awake to watch this, but then you missed the perfect segue of, "The talking, laughing, loving, breathing, fighting, fucking, crying, drinking, writing, winning, losing, cheating, kissing, thinking, dreaming BETTY." I was disappointed in the lack of vision in that regard.  :P

    I loathed the unsubtle cameos and theme song after the third season, but EZ's totally redeemed herself by picking some bangin' tunes.

    "I Want You Back" - Jackson 5 (will forever be associated with party brownies)

    OMG i cant believe i actually like a BETTY song!!

     To realise a song from last weeks L word was this band was quite a shock as the other stuff they have given us on the show has been dreadful (sorry to any betty fans out there)

     I have to say though, I dont think I will ever quite get over how they almost took over the show in season 2 and have lingered ever since, doesnt make much sense to me.....and DONT get me started on that theme song.....if i heard it in 10 years time in a club I wouldnt be jumping up and down with happiness, more like cringing LOL
