2009 Hot 100 Preview: RUBY ROSE

Australians with cable are an incredibly lucky bunch. Out MTV VJ Ruby Rose graces their television screens on a daily basis.

The television personality/DJ is a former model, and continues to perfect her pose whenever she finds herself in front of a camera. She was also recently named Favorite Female TV Personality at the Australian Subscription Television and Radio Association (ASTRA) Awards.

A paparazzi target in her homeland, there are constantly rumors surrounding Miss Rose, but her Tweets speak the truth — which is why it might be hard for us to believe that she and Jess of The Veronicas are just friends.

Ruby Rose made it onto our Hot List this year. Do you think she cracked the top 50?

    Ruby definately made my top 10 !! i loved her with her long hair...  but i'm really digging her new shorter do, i think it suits her more! *swoons* i'm seriously crushing on her at the moment =P hehe

    I voted for her this year too..and with shorter hair she's even hotter! She's so beautiful *-* Hope she'll make it at least into the top 20..she really deserves it ^-^

    Ruby Rose is hott no doubt about it! theres always rumors about her and Jess from The Veronicas but i LOVE Jess so if theyre friends or more im for it :)

    she is in my top 5 in my out category and she was recently voted as timeout magazine sexiest person in sydney. i feel like i have been living in the wrong city and state all these years with our out girls like portia de rossi and missy higgins originally coming from geelong and ruby from fitzroy or footscray i think, all in melbourne/victoria where are the girls in sydney?

    The other week I was at Q bar where GirlThing were hosting a big party (all girls, jelly wrestling mind you) and I was out on the tiny balcony having a cigarette with Miss Ruby. She is really actually very tall! So intimidating!

    I caught the show, to funny for words as Ms Ruby represented the 'Y' Gen. Her charismatic personality certainly shines across the camera, more so than static photos.

    At first because she reminded me SO much of Lucy Lawless/Xena, with the hair cut & the light coloured eyes... Now with the new cut, I think she loosk HEAPS better.

    I love ruby....but that show she was a guest on...channel 10 wednesday....really baaaad. I watched it for her and am kinda glad she was only a guest otherwise I'd have to make myself sit through weeks of a shitty tv show just to see her.

    Well Ruby will always be #1 for me. She's stunning, and from what I've seen/heard, she's just as beautiful on the inside. Her girlfriend is damn lucky.

    I'm not one of those fangirls who has a random encounter and then tries to feign some semblance of a friendship, so I'm making it clear I've encountered her a few times, but do not know her at all. Ruby DJed at Phoenix last year - her set was genius, and when she was done she was very sociable, sweet and willing to goof for photos. Just adds to the beauty.
