Toronto-born actress Lisa Ray has been internationally appealing since she began modeling at age 16. But we got to see a whole new side of her in Shamim Sarif's films The World Unseen and I Can't Think Straight.

Ray, who is of Indian descent, played Tala, a straight Christian-Arab woman in the comedic I Can't Think Straight. Tala ends up falling for another woman, Imagine Me and You style, but deals with some hurdles in the way of her conservative parents.
