TV Alert: "Better Off Ted" returns tonight

the discriminations short made me want to watch it. she turns it into being about her like she has lead a hard life im so tivo-ing this show

I love this show so much! I'm usually not a fan of most comedies because I think a lot of them are just kind of stupid and not funny, but I think Better Off Tedis hilarious. I didn't really expect to like it when I first decided to watch it, but I did. And seriously, how could you not love Portia in this?? Veronica is awesome! lol.

I tried watching a couple of episodes of this show but it felt like a chore. Awful show.

i only watched this show out of lesbian loyalty too (and powersuits on portia make me happy)

but now i actually like it. i can't wait to see portia in a suit!

I LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH..Portia is so beautiful :)

I'm so excited about Better Off Ted's return. I'm urging everyone I know to watch so that the same fate doesn't befall this show that befell Arrested Development. 

It took me a while to adjust to the leading character of Ted, but I love Veronica and the two bumbling scientists.

Please watch...not since Lindsay Bluth Funke was taken off the airwaves has de Rossi had such a moment to shine. 

Can't wait to view the new material.  I love the Veridian commercials that air in every episode.  Genius.

It's one of the only shows airing that doesn't have a TV audience cueing you when to laugh (I can't stand Everybody Loves Raymond and Two and a Half Men). I love the commericials, products and Portia de Rossi. I'm so excited for the new episode tonight!

love it, love it, love it. one of few intelligent tv shows. strange but totally loveable characters, of which my favourite is... tadaaaah.. LINDA. totally cute, although she is a blonde! looking forward to seeing more of the show!!!

Ok, I admit that, like most the women here, I started watching mostly to watch the lovely Portia in a suit which fits her in all the right places...

Ok, I've recovered from that mental image. Anyway, the irony and sardonic humor of the show have kept me watching. The writers are really clever, and I find that I enjoy the wacky characters all round.

P.S. If you're not a Neilsen family, try watching on ABC.com or using your Tivo. They both send viewing stats back to the ABC mothership, so your watching actually counts for something!

I definitely started watching to see Portia, but after the first couple episodes I was like "umm...this has to get better...".  I really did not want to not watch it.  I mean, it's Portia.  Now I am laughing more than not.  WooHoo!  : )

My favorite line this week was when Linda was telling Ted how her being friends with Veronica experience was not working out:

"We're not bonding, I'm being absorbed."

Too funny!  Still needs some work, but I think we have a winner.  

"I'm troubled, I'm brilliant and miserable too
That's why I am so funny..."
