Stephanie March gives us more Alex Cabot

This is the best news I've heard lately! Alex was always the best ADA :) and I love the chemistry between her and Liv.

Thank you TV Gods (or Dick Wolf;) for bringing her back!

I liked Stephanie March a lot on 30 rock, that was a pretty good episode, but I never really got the Alex fever, actually I haven't watched many episodes with her being the ADA, only Casey's.. maybe I'll start to watch SVU again and see what did I miss.. 

I gotta say the team of Hargitay and March just makes me giddy!! These two have an onscreen chemistry that has more subtext than the Fact of Life ever could ;)

I'm pleased that Alex Cabot will be in our lives again...the show was really missing a fundamental part of it's mojo without her!

So happy - I can resurrect all my Liv/Alex fantasies again, fabulous!! (as long as Mariska signs up again.. please, please, please do!). And completely agree about the subtext ;-)

While it's not a series regular, I would love to see Alex Cabot at all next season.  If the love between Alex and Liv becomes text rather than subtext, even better.

So, I just had to run laps around my bedroom in the hopes that my heart would start beating again. Mrs. Olivia Benson is back in black and kicking asses around the courtroom! I just adore Stephanie March.

stephanie march is amazing. love her as alex cabot and she was pretty fantastic doing comedy on 30 rock. her staying with SVU = one more season of great television from dick wolf.

also: how did i not know she was bobby flay's wife????

...ok...so i was on the phone w my friend when i was reading this and she was middle of a story and i was...'hold on...HOLD ON!!! OMG!!!!!'lol...and contiued to scream in excitment while reading this...i had to explain to her what i was so excited about...sigh...she has NO idea....lol

i loved alex...she was fantastic...i SO have to start watching it again...

and I literally gasped. My life = made. Also, every time I see Bobby Flay I want to punch him in the face for being married to her. He seems like a bit of a douche.

1. oh my god oh my god this is the best thing I've heard since I heard news of Alex initially returning.. and her bisexuality..

I didn't think I could make it the 11th season without seeing Alex CAbot glasses, heels and outfits... this is awesome news!!

2. As far as Tina Fey, if you ever watch her "Ask Tina" answers on NBC she seems to love SVU.. Someone asked her if she would ever want to do a cross over with another show. She said Law & Order SVU.

On another different segment of Ask Tina, someone asked her to tell a good christmas memory. She said she watched an episode of SVU where a man ate children's hair and how "this is the best christmas ever."

More evidence she loves SVU.. the amount of SVU stars to have been on 30 Rock. An old detective from the first season of SVU now plays "Dennis Duffy" on 30 Rock..  Mariska's husband was in an episode, Stephanie has obviously been on the show, ex-ADA Casey Novak has been on the show, and 30 rock used a clip of Olivia Besnon on the episode "seinfeldvision."   

I for one am dieingggg to see some good old Alex & Olivia onscrene heat.. Neal Baer has a twitter now, so we need to make sure we show AO love there to him. I never use it but we need to start to represent alll the lesbians who loove them together so he'll ggive us good eps of them next season (if Mariska comes back, which I think she will)

SVU is one of the few TV shows I watch, and Alex is absolutely my favorite ADA! Hopefully next season they will give her more to do then they did at the end of the last one, and hopefully the writing will get a little better.

I'm definately pushing for the AO relationship. Please oh please let it happen ;).

Awesome news! I loved loved loved Alex...but, i'm still not gonna watch SVU without the magnificence that is Mariska Hargitay, alias Olivia Benson. Sara Ramirez could make an appearance and i might still not watch it..well..not really though..SVU wouldn't be the same without Olivia&Elliot ^.^

I love Alex Cabot and even more I love her and Olivia Benson together. I hope that they'll both be there next season and well, I also hope that things between them will get a little more romantic and closer...

And Stephanie March is also one very attractive woman :)

I still watch the show here in Aus but mainly so I can better follow the fanfic story lines. Ms March signing on for longer should give readers and writers alike much pleasure.

Haha I never made the connection until months after watching 30 rock. I didn't realize it until I saw a rerun of the first season on TV and I was like "That's the beeper king!" lol. 

The episode with novak is when Liz goes to her high school reunion. Third season I think. It's hilarious.

Can I get a "WTF" on how Alex Cabot was conspicuously absent from this year's season finale?

Non-Alex ADA: "I'm Sorry, Your Honor. Ms. Cabot is stuck in traffic."

Me: "Are you ABSOLUTELY kidding me, Dick Wolf? Traffic?!"

That's some lazy-ass writing right there. If they're gonna bring her back next season, USE her...and make her have all of her scenes with Liv ;)

I love the whole crew of SVU and all, especially Hargitay, but March was the main reason I looked forward to SVU in the early years... I am sooo happy to hear I can look forward to new episodes again without having to worry about seeing that newbie lawyer again for a while! YEA!!! And hopefully this time around, there are alot more Benson/Cabot interactions, cause the last couple of episodes were definitely lacking...

I seriously couldn't be happier. I'm still a huge fan of the old eps when Cabot was still the ADA and then, when I FINALLY got used to miss Casey Novak they got rid of her as well. But nooowww I'm so happy!
