Michelle Pfeiffer: Do brunettes have more fun?

Michelle Pfeiffer has a new look, and who better to decide whether she should keep it than those of us who adore her?

Pfeiffer, who turns 50 on April 29, tried on a lot of looks last year. She was Velma Von Tussle in Hairspray.

Lamia in Stardust.

And Rosie in I Could Never Be Your Woman, which I missed. I'm not happy about that, since she apparently spends much of the movie in sleeveless tops. (Paul Rudd co-stars.)

Last week, at the Broadway premiere of Come Back Little Sheba, she debuted a look that I can't recall seeing before. I'll just call it "non-blonde."

The Dish Rag calls it "mousy" and suggests she looks like Calista Flockhart's older sister.

You know, she kinda does. Look like Calista, I mean. I would never call Michelle Pfeiffer "mousy." I think she looks lovely, in fact. And not because I have bad vision.

What about you? Do you prefer Ms. Pfeiffer as a blonde or a brunette? Or does her beauty transcend hair color?

    No matter how...

    Michelle

I'm not really a fan of the half-blonde / half-something-else hair. Which is interesting, because I usually fall more often for brunettes... But I love her. No matter what she does to her hair ;)
She's definitely one of my most favourite actresses. I liked her best in White Oleander; she was so fierce in that movie (and crazy. But still!).
    She's just amazing :)

    Personally, I find blonde

Personally, I find blonde hair a turn-off, so I'm digging the new look. True, she'd be gorgeous with any hair color, but for me this is much better than before. And definitely not mousy.

    I like it

I think it just makes her look more down to earth, she doesn't look mousy.

    Emmm

Brunettes don't have more fun when they're Michelle Pfeiffer. Sorry love, I like the blonde. But the brown doesn't look bad, it's just not Ms. Pfeiffer.

    It's a toss up.

I think I'll have to look at her some more as a brunette. For my entire life I have always seen her as a blonde so it is different. I just cannot believe that she is going to be 50! Wow! I can only hope to look half as good as her in 20 years. Blonde, brunette, she is hot.

    Grease 2

The first time I ever saw her in a movie was Grease 2, as the head of the Pink Ladies... so do as Stephanie Zinone did and be blonde forever!

Having said that, however, she couldn't look bad if she tried, regardless of hair color!

    It's funny but

I don't usually go for blondes...but I've always loved her with blonde hair! She still looks fabulous but I think she looks better as a blonde.
