Maya Rudolph plays baby mama with John Krasinski

I don’t need a lot of convincing to go see a movie in which Melanie Lynskey plays a character named Munch.

But add Maya Rudolph, Allison Janney, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Catherine O’Hara and we know Away We Go definitely will bring the funny.

OK, the film has some funny men, too — John Krasinski, Jeff Daniels and Jim Gaffigan, all of whom I have comedy crushes on. However you mix it, Away We Go is at the top of my movies-to-see list for June.

Krasinski and Rudolph play expectant parents who take a road trip to find the best place to settle down and raise their family. As they travel the U.S., they reconnect with old friends and relatives, all full of opinions and feelings on how the couple should raise its child. Here’s the trailer:

Written by RL couple Dave Eggers and Vendela Vida and directed by Sam Mendes, Away We Go opens in limited release June 5. Does it look like your kind of movie?
